Kessler, Haye and Hatton

    Exactly. :good

    I am only talking about champions that could have chosen to stay at home and still make millions, but chose to enter enemy territory for the glory.

    (so I'm not talking about fighters that have to fight abroad if they want to earn a lot)

    NB. I have noticed many have said that Hatton hasn't experienced this yet, because when he fights in the US he virtually has had a big portion of the crowd behind him. This may be right and perhaps take Ricky off the list for now.

    Cudos to Jeff for that. He had the balls and the honor, but not quite the skills.

    What was the crowd like for Kessler against Mundine?
     
  5. Err... I was there, and I remember quite clearly the majority of the crowd being behind Hatton.

    Hostile, but as far as I remember Kessler had to go as Mundine was mandatory. So doesnt really count.
