Wrong again. :rofl If you check my post history I have not made a single post hyping Ward as long as I have been on these boards. :good I gave him props for beating Kessler just like everyone not living in Denmark/England did, but that was it.
Are you saying Ward beat Kessler by 7 to 9 rounds in an 11 round fight only because of those headbutts? Yes or no.
When the **** did i say he won because of headbutts?? He did school a kessler who was not in his prime.... He did headbutt him in the fight, and not all of them were "accidental" and he did NOT need to headbutt, he would have schooled kessler in his prime anyway, its a bad style match up for kessler... Why dont you answer the question??? Is ward your san francisco treat????
Why do you have to bring entire counties into it? I am from England and I don't give a **** about either fighter. Look at the guys comments and argue with his point in a factual way, don't ****ing assume he has that opinion because he is from a certain country, it kind of makes you look like a ****ing ******. As for the Ward - Kessler fight, Ward was quicker then him and used more skill and was beating him to the punch anyway, but the headbutts, accidental or not, did effect Kessler, although, I still think he would of lost the fight, regardless.
Everyone who can't see that Kessler lost like 3 steps from the speed he had say against Beyer is blind, or a talker. Even Perdomo connected on him, who is slow like a dune.
People were saying kessler is past his best when it took him 12 rounds to beat sartison atsch Did u even watch that fight?
you dont have to be a biased ward fan to know the results wouldnt have changed with or without the headbutts. it was clear who was the better between the two, and it was TOO clear who was grossly overrated and hyped beyond comprehension:deal
damn, thats a sick avatar. Was haye jumping when he landed this shot? They look almost the same height :nut
It's too clear who has the boxing understanding of a 12 years old, and cannot rate the shape of an athlet for 2 cent. Kessler was already crap vs. Perdomo, and didn't get any better for the Ward fight. If he can't get back to his old speed, Froch throws him into the 3rd row.
Regardless of how anyone rates Kessler, If this is the end of him if he loses, hes had a good career winning the WBA (twice) & WBC titles. But lets not forget with Kessler what a great attitude hes had in that he defended away to Mundine, fought away to Calzaghe in a unification fight, put his title on the line away to Ward & defended against Haussler away. Not many in the super 6 would be able to boast that, except maybe Froch in defending away to Taylor and soon to be away again to Kessler. Kessler dosent seem to have his old confidence but it would be a shame to the division if he did finish I think
I think that if anyone tries to make excuses for Kessler's loss to Ward doesn't or refuses to acknowledge that, in my opinion, he wasn't prepared strategically or mentally for Ward's speed and awkwardness. He was also clearly out-hustled and out-thought in the fight. That said, I don't think he loses to Frotch. Frotch, I think, is an easy fight for Kessler if he reverts back to what got him to the top of the division: sound fundamentals, ie, straight punching, good footwork, etc. Frotch is a fighter who I believe is a sucker for the simple jab, jab, right.
