the ******* don't stop..... he really shouldn't be doing this before an upcoming fight... can't blame ol froch...... she's quite nice lookin [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-st6RXfZgps&feature=related[/ame]
As i recall it, your not a big fan of Calzaghe and Kessler -right . But who should Kessler beat to get your respect as a good fighter ?
Super 6 will be a farce if Kessler drops out. image if Kessler and Dirrell both lose and then drop out. It would **** me off no end.
Man, boxing fans are picky. Mikkel Kessler is a GREAT fighter. He loses to arguably the greatest SMW of all time, and a great up and comer, and people think he should retire? It's not like he got a thorough beating in either fight. There's nothing I saw in those two fights that he can't improve on.
this should be called the super 6 should be the super retirement tourny in just the 2nd round we will see taylor and kessler retire ffs
exactly just get in the ring and fight. If you lose, you lose, but you should be happy to be facing a top guy in your 3rd fight of the tournament should you have lost the first two...in regular boxing, that doesn't usually happen. They give you "tuneups". Taylor I understand...that was maybe the most vicious KO of his career. But not Kessler...he's barely been hurt in the ring!
Kessler is taylor made for Froch cant believe what I am reading about how Kessler is all wrong for Froch. Kessler is the only fighter in the super six that is perfect for a brawler like froch. Froch has trouble with slick fast boxers that use a lot of movement not meat and two veg fighters like kessler.
Kessler never learned to handle a jab, true speed nor versatility. That 1-2 European style works well when you are fighting orthodox opponents and guys who you hold physical advantages over. When you get to the next level you got guys like Ward and Calzaghe who can adapt to plan A, B or C if they have to. Calzaghe saw that he couldnt just overwhelm Kessler so he started to lead with the jab and Kessler not having any upper body movement couldnt compete. He should be Froch, but Froch is mentally strong and wont break easy. And I dont know if Kessler has the mental toughness to win.,
When Kessler used to box on his feet like against Andrade, throwing combinations he looked good and I think would have outboxed Froch, but with Kesslers confidence seeming quite low, I think after a good start, Frochs clubbing blows will make him go into a bit of a shell giving Froch a close, possibly contraversial win.
As a matter of fact his punches couldn't find a target, so it's a bit hard to judge whether there was any pop.
Lucas was a former SMW champ who beat Beyer in most peoples eyes and lots of people thought he could win the fight. then he got totaly shitkicked. calling him a can makes you look really bad.
Calzaghe did cruise to victory. He may have taken the last round of, but he was never really in trouble during that final round. Just comfortable knowing all he had to do to win was finish on his feet.
