Spot on . I'd take another night like that at the 02 all day. I'm not saying it should happen but some people can't see a good thing. That fight was quality the night was quality . The gaff was ****ing buzzing but getting home was a twat

In context I'm going to Cardiff with Everton tomorrow with a load of beer and other stuff. I'd watch a third fight sober I can't do that with Everton how bellew does is a mystery

Kessler beat an out of sorts Froch, with a 8 month pregnant mrs at ringside and he didnt know if it was even on 5 days beforehand as every jet in europe had been grounded.

Personally I would like to have seen kessler taken on groves before a third and before a groves-froch fight. It would of been a good measuring stick for GG had he beaten mikel he would of been seen more than ready to jump in with Carl. Had Mikel dispatched Groves then the shot to bits tag would of been rubbished an a third match with Carl seen as a better fight. Although I think it would b a good fight anyway, a lot see mikel as finished.

 

Fair call on Kessler Groves, that'd be a very intriguing match up.
I like many others still think this may be too early for Groves, Kessler would have been a great test and shown us if he's ready or not... get to find out either way, but it would been a logical fight, and to build up hype for the neutreals and get Groves more known.

 

Not interested in a third personally. I would rather see Froch use his remaining few fights to face other kids(excluding Ward).Kessler looks pretty beaten up and worn out to me now - and with all the issues with his damaged eye and stuff he really should think about facing a lesser opponent next and getting out the game with his health intact IMO.

 

A fight which was Groves first step up against a good operator 11 fights into his career, 3 years ago. A fight which he has clearly learned from and gone on to look like twice the fighter he was back then. Also against a guy in Anderson who was undefeated and who can punch.

If anything, that fight has enabled Groves to be in the position he is now to fight against Froch and will also stand him in good stead for it.

 

Kessler liked the paycheck that came through and thought I'll have a bit more of that.

Froch could force a stoppage 3rd time around

froch hits harder than kenny imo as you say groves as improved but his chin as not :bart

 

I think Froch wins the third but it's 1-1 and the first two were great fights so why not? There are far worse fights that do get made let's be honest...

Yup, I'm thinking the same. Froch would surely have a rematch clause in place.
Degale fight would happen if Groves keeps winning.
Big 'if' though against Froch, and I have Froch winning.
