    here´s most important win:
    henry porras 26-1-0
    craig cummings 51-4-1
    manny siaca wba champ
    anthony mundine wba titlefight
    eric lucas wba titlefight
    marcus beyer wbc/wba titlefight
    librado andrade wba/wbc titlefight
    joe calzaghe wba/wbc/wbo titlefight-lost UD
    dimitri sartison wba titlefighT

i think kessler´s skills and previus fights proves that he belongs on the top in smw.before the joe c. fight,he was the NEW man in smw.
he lost it,but i think he´s underrated right now...
when he´s done with haussler he will be back again, stronger than ever.

Kessler is a very solid fighter, he will dominate the division as soon as joe c retires. Then i hope he moves up to light heavy...think he could make some noise there, he would give dawson a hell of a fight for sure,

I think Kessler is a good "B" level fighter who has and will continue to beat B- and C+ level fighters.

He's very good. He just didn't match up with Calzaghe's style all that well. The up-tempo pace took him out of his comfort zone.

    I'd like to see a re-match.

Kessler hit a snag with Calzaghe. Big deal, it happens. But he has to come back and re-establish himself. He's still one of the best SMW's in the world.

Kessler has the potential to be one of the best fighters in boxing, but needs a new trainer to help develop his left hand and defensive technique, and new managament and promotion to steer his career in the right path.

None of that will happen though.

What is wrong with his left hand :?

Or his defensive technique for that matter? I'm pretty sure he has one of the lowest landed shots ratios in boxing. Sure it wasn't great against Calzaghe, but not everybody is Joe Calzaghe with that kind of speed and awkward angles.

Nothing is especially wrong with his left hand persay - aside from the fact that he doesn't use it nearly enough. Kessler could benefit tremendously by further developing his lead left hook, and counter left hook. He could also stand to incorporate the left uppercut a great deal more.

We disagree on his defense, I think it's abysmal considering his natural gifts. Kessler relies on his reflexes and speed too much. In most cases he just jerks his head straight back a few inches and raises his gloves slightly as he jumps out. That's basically all he does defensively.

He didn't have to lose to Calzaghe, he could have beat the **** out of him without these flaws but all Kessler does for the most part is jab, jab, right hand, jab, jab, right hand. And alternate between moving straight in on offense, and straight back on defense. Kessler is so talented he's gotten pretty far doing things that generically, but if he added some more dimensions he could be one of the top operators in the sport. The kid is a warrior. He has all the intangibles.
