Calderon's 10th position is pretty weak if you ask me and we're still talking about a 2 division undefeated champ (best at both divisions). So no, Kessler is not yet there, but a few wins over Taylor, Bute or one vs. Winky (#9 on my list, will fall out after 12 months of inactivity) should do the trick.

maybe we didnt watch the same fight!??
sartison was a tough nut to crack, and off couse kessler would not take any meaningless chances just to knock the guy out...
sartison is a very good boxer, nut just a punching bag as haussler f.ex.
he did what he had to do,outboxed him,and knocked him out....
give the man a chance to come back....

Hell no. P4p is IMO for elites, and you prove that by beating elite fighters. Kessler has lost to the only one his step up to so far. There are a few guys there for him, anywhere from MW-LHW.

he has never been a P4P guy......and with the Palle management team around him...dont expect him to face a P4P guy Pavlik .

Have to agree with the last 2. He hasn't fought and beat a fighter that one would make him a top 10 fighter. The only step up fighter he fought, he got beat easy. Just to be a champ dosn't make you a top 10 fighter. He is good, just not top 10 good. Yet.

He is a seriously talented fighter. But no, he hasn't done enough yet. Top 20 for me.

Top 15 for now, but I would expecth him to climb to the top, (or close) in the next 2 years.

He's around 12 or 13 if we are being sensible.

Man I want him back. Maybe I am too harsh. But, he didnt look so slow against for example Lucas. And he took even less chances in that fight. He was so concervative in that fight. And yet he was soo much faster in that fight.

And he took him out in round 10 with basically his left jab. It was just his left jab jab jab all night long. He took zero chances.

It seems as if he and the people behind him is trying to complicate things. He should stick to what he knows work for him.

Remember he has had longer layoffs in the past, not looking so slow and uncoordinated.

But maybe he trained more during those periods, in comparison to this layoff. I dont know?

    Yes, thereabout would be right.

I think many people think he is more talented than that though and comfortably a top 10 based on skill. However, I agree that we need to see Kessler against people like Pavlik, Taylor, Bute, Winky, Abraham and a few others.
