:-( Kessler was at a docter check to see how his injury was improving. Sadly there's no improvements according to Kessler. "I had hoped it was better, but I feel the same. I dont feel any improvements, so I'm a bit sad." (rough translation) With 4 months left for his 6 month recovery, let hope for him to get better sooner than later. If he doesn't I have a feeling Froch will be the last person to have the honour of fighting the Viking Warrior:-(

That'd be sweet wouldnt it? Though I'm personally hoping for Kessler to get in the ring with Bute as an eliminator to fight the winner of the super six.. That way Bute'd get some good opposition instead of getting oppertunities served on a silver platter
Sounds bad. He was all set up to make several more millions, coming off the best win of his career. Hope it improves.
i personaly think that kessler is about to retire, after his 2 recent losses(ward, calzaghe) and along with this injury i think either he will take 1 or 2 more fights, or just call it quits all together
The situation seems bleak for both Kessler and Dirrell, but I'm hoping that in mid or late 2011 we see a "Super Six Alumni" battle on Showtime between the two dropouts. It might not have happened in the tournament due to the format, but actually thinking about it now it could be a nice mesh of styles and tough to pick.
He should have never fought Froch so soon, after he took those butts from Ward. His eye was just ridiculous after that fight with Carl.
that is bad news, seriously. the guy has fought the likes of beyer, calzaghe, mundine, andrade, froch, ward. and for his career to end outside the ring like this isn't good. the one thing a ring warrior deserves is to end on his own terms, and it doesnt seem he'll get that opportunity.
