and yet it was taylor who beat and dethroned hopkins.

do you really think that would have happened if eastman was known in the US?

or even better - fought there?

the common trend here is american based fighters are 'afraid' or 'running' from their lesser known euro counterparts.

it might not be right that it has to be that way, but it's black and white what a euro fighter has to do if he wants to be taken seriously.

    Buuuuullshiiiiiiit.

Dawson would easily cut to 172 or even 170 to accomodate Kessler. Show us where he says he would not fight at a catchweight.

Kessler fans are scared of Dawson, period.

resume counts because resume builds notoriety.

what is unforgivable is that with kessler's skills he isn't already trying to court the US because he'll be lucky to walk into a plum fight.

Can Kessler please have the fights in his division first please? Seriously.

Let Dawson fight Tarver for the second time (lol) then give old man Johnson his rematch then we'll talk about Dawson.

tThere are at the very least gonna be huge doubts about Taylor being the best SMW unless he beats Kessler or Kessler loses to someone else. And you know it.

Shaw said no for a catchweight?

Let's see a link, that's the first I have heard of this.

Hes the undefeated wbc champ that won the belt by defeating a top 10 undefeated challenger in Pascal. Froch would beat mundine, but Andrade would be a toss up. I will give him the Andrade win, that was a great win. But, Bute beat Andrade too.....

Gary Shaw has repeatedly attached the condition 'at 175lbs' whenever he has mentioned a Kessler fight.

Perhaps you have an example where he said they were willing to fight at a catchweight?

    "americans are scared of kessler...."

    "kessler is scared of dawson...."

you people are being childish because you're throwing allegiances around and trying to justify them with lame comments like this.

it's a waste of time trying to educate people who aren't willing to listen to begin with.

all my arguements i leave open to anyone who wants to challenege them - but still i have to listen to this tripe.

Exactly, both Bute and Kessler beat Andrade, by wide margins. Yet you claim that Taylor beating Froch would place him clearly ahead of both...

And thats exactly how the vast majority of the boxing world is gonna see it. People will say Kessler is better. Especially because he (unlike Taylor by the looks of things) is willing to prove it

Not if Kessler keeps fighting bums and JT beats one of the belt holders. There wont be many doubts. With that said, the fight would happen without a doubt. Thats what kinda fighter JT is, he wants the big money fights, and he would go after that one for sure, so we will never have to wonder if that scenerio plays out.
