Dawson could probably make 168, so why doesn't he come down?

Dawson is a bigger name then anyone at 168.

 

Cunningham is already signed to fight Adamek(who Dawson beat by the way) and I don't think Cunningham made an offer to Dawson.

And the jump from Light Heavy to Cruiser is much more drastic then the jump for 168 to 175.

 

Dawson is 6'2 - 6'2½ and you expect a SMW champion to go straight for him when he's got a possible fight with Taylor or even Bernard Hopkins? :think

I too, rushed the conclusion of avoiding Dawson when team Kessler didn't take a fight, but who knows the story?

Rumours are, Kessler are negotiating with Hopkins and Taylor, and a sneaky Dawson offer with low reward/high risk whilst having the opportunity to make a high reward fight against Hopkins or Taylor is debatable.

Let's wait and see what he does.
