Kessler is s**t scared

Why fight Mranda for no belt at all, when he could Sartison for a legitimate title?

Just because you want to see him on USTV?

Kessler went after the belt and that's a normal flow of life. He could make better fights with a WBA belt.

 

Dawson makes 175 easy Adamek didn't so the jump was easier for him because he is naturally bigger then Dawson. And again Cunningham is signed to fight Adamek so how is Dawson suppose to move up and fight up???

So Kessler will move up to fight Hopkins but not Dawson?:huh

 

He didn't 'find' him, it was a mandatory that he tried to get out of.

You'd find things a lot easier if you could just keep track of basic facts.

 

They did argue with the WBA that it was a mismatch, but their appeals were thrown out.

Hence why Palle lost the purse bid and Kessler had to go to Germany.

 

Miranda wouldn't have been a big fight.

It would be beating up a journeyman. Instead Kessler got to beat up a journeyman for a title.

The only advantage Miranda offered is that, bizarrely, he's rated in America and a few people might watch on tv. Kessler will have plenty of chances to be on TV in the US, so I doubt it's a big loss.

It's probably best not to base your career choices on the lower intellect segment of the American boxing viewing public anyway.

 

Miranda is a way ****** name then the unknown Sartison and fighting Miranda would have gotten him exposure in america(something that kessler says he wants).

And that title is no way legit. Mundine won that title against Sam Soliman while Kessler was still the REAL WBA champion. I doubt you guys were calling that belt legit when Kessler still had his WBA title.

Kessler himself said he wants to be a big name in the US so how is he suppose to do it when he turns down big fights against big names on US TV to fight unknown bums in europe??

Or, just take the easy defence within four months of the title win, then still be able to fight a bigger name on much the same schedule as you would anyway, but with the title as a negotiating tool to get those bigger names in the ring.

When Miranda vs Kessler was suppose to happen the boards were pumped. It was a big fight. And Miranda isn't a journey men. He isn't elite but he's alot better then Sartison and Haussler and actually had a punchers chance against Kessler.
