There wasn't one single quote from Mikkel Kessler in that whole thread :?

Nor has there yet been one cite of Dawson offering a fight to Kessler or being interested in fighting Kessler.

So all we've got is a rough translation of a danish article about Mogens Palle discussing hypothetical future fights that may or may not be attainable/possible/desirable with HBO.

    You just owned yourself.

Mogens Palle don't want Kessler to fight Chad because of the risk/reward.
He argues that Dawson is really a cruiserweight, and that it would be a dangerous move up in weight. He says Kessler deserves more money etc.

We're talking about what Mogens Palle thinks.

Again, where's your quote that Mikkel himself personally said he does not want to move up for Dawson, but would for Hopkins or Taylor?:think

You talk about facts and then you don't even post any worthy ones yourself.

I read the article and Mogens said that the offer was next to ridiculous, there was not nearly enough money on the table for Mogens to be satisfied.

Again, it's MOGENS that calls the shots, not Kessler.

You should check your sources man, you ought to look less stupid.

Kessler is under contract with Mogens.

If he was to fight without the acceptance of Mogens he would have a hefty law suit coming his way.

So really, stop assuming things and check your facts.:deal

I have no problem with Kessler not fighting Dawson. I'm actually glad his team came out said they don't want the fight. Now I can stop reading all this nonsense about how Kessler is the best fighter from 175 down and how he would go up to 175 and knock Chad out.

Kessler gets plenty of respect. Many on this site slurp him on a daily basis, and most regard him as the best SMW out there. How much more respect does he need?

His promotor said that a, there wasn't nearly enough money and b, the contracts they had available was far greater.

And when asked the question if Kessler could beat Dawson he answered: "I don't know, it's a high risk fight for sure"

It doesn't mean they lost by default, it means the fight is not right just now.

It means they know Chad would be a problem for Kessler. If Palle thought Kessler could go up to 175 and stop Chad like many on this board believe he would, he would jump all over the fight. Kessler has no problem fighting no names as long as he's assured an easy night. Dawson has relatively good name recognition, just not the same as a Calzaghe or a Hopkins. A tall, rangy southpaw with excellent handspeed, footwork and combination punching is far from an ideal opponent for Kessler. Kessler and his team knows this.

Stick to reality and it is that Dawson was very timid against Glen Johnson. In fact he wore dark glasses afterwards.

In regard of the clowns, reading through the thread I see only one and that's you with your baseless claims.
