I always thought Pavilk was the better fighter, but go watch the Kessler vs Sartison fight on youtube and tell me that guy beats Pavlik.

Kessler is slow and predictable, Had the tubby, thick Sartison done some roadwork and had stamina, if he knew how to bob and weave and apply educated pressure, who knows.? Sartison does not belong at 168.

I have been watching boxing a very long time and its obvious to me that the Kessler who shows up vs Sartison gets Knocked out by Kelly, hell by Abraham. The guy who fought Sartison is Tailor made for Pavlik. By the way Sartison is a can, fighting 1 or 2 weight classes above what he should.

I think there styles match up well

Kessler being the slightly better technically, would be a cracking fight and i honestly think kessler can take it :good

Yes, great. Pick out Kessler's worst performance since...well...ever, after coming off a long lay off and clearly suffering from ring rust, and assume he'll fight to this level again. Use this as a basis for comparison.

    :patsch

agreed. Against Pavlik the real question is Kessler heart, not his style or abilty. NONE of Pavlik's best wins have come against technically sound boxer types.

It's not Kessler he hates it's Calzaghe.

This fool only hates Kessler by association.

I think Kessler would also be the physically biggest and strongest guy Pavlik has faced. He's fought like 5 times at 168 and above, but they were all tomato cans.

That aint entirely true... He dislike every fighter Kessler has fought too. And praising Pavliks victims. Until a week ago he made i sound like that Miranda was a top p4p!

Kessler dominated Librado Andrade, someone who is not skilled but has stamina, chin, power and volume of punches, same attributes that are the main strenght of Kelly Pavlik. Its hard to predict.

I do see the similarites betwwn Andrede and Pavlik, but what Librado does at a "C+" level, Pavlik does at an "A" level.

You're calling Kessler slow and predictable when it comes to a Pavlik fight? Get out of here, novice.

I see Kessler in way bigger trouble against a Taylor or a Hopkins!

Pavlik beats Taylor, Taylor beats Kessler, Kessler beats Pavlik....

I was a Kessler fan until he ducked Miranda to fight for that worthless title. It was so blatant. The Guy was supposed to be a Warrior and I belived it and got excited, then he fought Calzaghe (I dont want to say he got discouraged and quit) but the body language said: shits not going my way I cant win, I will survive and sparr. The icing on the cake was the Miranda thing that on the heels of all the shenanigans Calzaghe has pulled, and well thats why I group those two together. You also have total lack of objectivity by the Kessler and Calzaghe fanbase.

Funny thing is, I now respect and have become a fan of Arthur Abraham. I hope he does well regardless of his limitations. I admire what he did comeing over here kicking Mirandas ass no controversy no bull****, with everything to lose and nothing to gain. The irony is this guy will likely get polished by Kelly, while Joe and Kessler hide out and make bull**** defenses. Im not a hater its just when guys are supposed to be formidable they should challenge the best and when they dont they should not reap any accolades. Maybe its cultural but the best take the greatest challenges and win and even when things are going south we prevail with guts determination etc thats the beauty of the sport of boxing.
