for manny years we've seen scared champs like Ottke, Beyer and Calzaghe whom always box in front of home crowd and with home judges...:-((

They picked easy opponent's when they could...

Now Kessler have cleened up for them and will take the last step tonight..;)

Joe has for years wasted his talent on ****-opponents..
And I can't really blame him cause the people of Wales loved him for it..
    (35000 wantet to see joe beat a tv-star live:nut )

Kessler if differrent he has hart and he want's to be the best(maybe he'll become) and travels to reach his gold like a real wiking.. :happy

that's what supermiddle division have needed...

Good luck tonight Kessler I hope you win also for the sport of boxing...:bbb
Go Kessler take the last step..:bananamaniac :soccerred :mj :boxing2

No doubt Kessler so far deserves appraisal for not resting on his laurels, but to continue seeking new challenges.

Men like Cotto, Mijares, Kessler, Dawson are good for boxing.

Maybe Kessler is just in a better era than Calzaghe was, but he did take this fight also - so praise him for that as well.

Go Kessler - make me proud.

If Kessler had waited a year or two Calzaghe would be retired. It'd be very easy for him to do. So he earned a lot of respect from me.

A lot of credit must go to Kessler but I disagree on one small point: you missed the word "second" between 'the' and 'best'

Speaking of which, where is that idiot the-best?

Hail Kessler, the Danish road warrior, who fought twice on foreign soil, and 37 times in..................his backyard in Denmark !
Why has he travelled to England? Denmark? Isnt it a very small country somwhere in the north of europe?
Mate, money is the name of this game.Kessler travels to whichever place he has to in order to earn big bucks!
And lets not forget up till now Kessler doesnt play in Calzaghe's or Ottke's league. Both the German and the Brit have better fight records.
And last but not least in terms of popularity Kessler is still a nobody out there. He may be a living God back home in his tiny Denmark, but he is hardly known outside Danish soil.

I know you are very fond of the German based fighters but please don't drag Ottke into this.
At least Kessler has not needed to stay at home in order to win via hometown decisions like Ottke.

Kessler is already more known and definately more liked and respected outside his own nation than Ottke ever was. I guess you can figure out why.;)

For God's sake, mate,Kessler had twice fought on foreign soil, your Kessler nuthuggers make him look like a road warrior who has squared off against top opposition quite frequently beating the hell out of them in their backyards.
Ottke? I dont give a damn whether he is more or less respected than Kessler outside his own nations or not!
I for my part like Joe,and I will surely root for him,but that doesnt mean that I dislike Kessler.
No,I have no problem with Kessler, but with his nutty fans.
Honour where honour is due! I will praise Kessler if he wins his upcomming bout with Joe.
Nevertheless we should call a spade a spade, shouldnt we!
Kessler is no road warrior, but a fighter who has only fought twice on foreign soil, and who has won the vast mayority of his fights back home in front of his hometown crowd.....................................................like Ottke:hey

Kesslers first defence as a champion was in Australia, and now his fifth defence will be in Wales thats is 40% fights away from home as champion. Against the no. 3 and no. 1 ranked in his division!

Show me any German who have done something similar, and not any of the Easteuropean germans!

If the **** Ottke had gone to England and fought Reid, and Danmark and fought Larsen he would rightfully have two loses!

I give Kessler all the credit. He has a champion mentality and really wants to fight the best. It took him 2-3 years to get to this stage while Calzaghe a decade. And you just know that if Kessler wins we'll be looking forward more mega bouts as he sets out to conquer America. I like Calzaghe as well but I think it might be better for the future that Kessler wins.

Twice in 4 defences. Thats 50%. You don't think that Kessler is in Ottkes or JCs league?

Unlike your native man, Kessler has managed to fight Calzaghe 3 years after being WC for the first time. All there is in favor of Ottke and JC compared to Kessler is their number of title defences. Everyone with eyes knows how many times, Ottke has been granted gift decisions to maintain his numbers.
