Kessler looked very poor indeed.

Are talking about the ward fight?
Because in last fight he looked sharp.
No 168lb in thr world today would of got that guy out of there quicker than kessler.:patsch

    Good post.

Kessler's team should read this a few times and get to work.

Imo. Kessler needs to improve these issues:

    1. Time and time again he is able to turn his opponents. He did it to night, he did it with Froch and so on.... BUT he rarely takes advantage. He just allows the other guys to turn and resettle before KEssler starts punching. That has to be fixed!!!

    2. Clinching. He is not sharp enough getting in and out of clinches.

    3. Using the "break" command. He apparently sees the break as a "stop" command. He needs to box out of breaks. Ward especially does that well.

    4. He just goes backwards when pressured. This means that any opponent can just scurry once Kessler is going backwards. If the opponent can keep punching even when not set then it seems he can keep Kessler going backwards and to busy to retreat to be effective. Calzaghe relied a lot on this flaw and Ward also did. Calzaghe mostly did pitter patter and Ward is also not a big hitter, but the unorthodox style of just punching repeatedly from any angle works against Kessler. This needs serious fixing!!!

Not agree! He just looked like he had one year layoff. He did a damn good job imo. Actually i expected him to look even more rusty than he did. Its a very good sign indeed

Hey man, I'm sorry but don't try to make Bouadla a tough opponent, that's all. I know it was a tune up fight and it's ok but don't push it too far. The "Bouadla was never stopped before" thing is bull****.
