Kessler/Magee in Fall, then Kessler/Bute in 2013.

Kessler vs Bute may'be for some vacant belt early next year sounds good, it's just a shame Bute is gonna lose his title next weekend otherwise the Kessler fight could have been much bigger.

If this is correct then I really cant understand the point of Kesslers last fight at all.

Kessler could have fought Steiglitz for Steiglitz WBO SMW title, which would have been a big fight and if Kessler won, would have given him another world title making him a 4 time SMW champ and putting him in a better position. Instead he fought Green a lesser opponent at a catch weight for a diamond belt at LHW and then says hes going to fight at SMW?
If Kessler fights Magee, at SMW it would be for Magees WBA int title and Magee is less accomplished that Steiglitz and his belt not as meaningful.
Though after watching Kessler against Green, I think Kessler would have his hands full with Steiglitz now.
Never rated Magee though and think Kessler would easily beat Magee and stop him in around 6 rounds

 

Kessler beats Magee, Looses to Bute IMO Unless he caught him GOOD and stopped him, Which while is unlikely it's also not impossible.

 

why would Kessler trouble with Bute when you have 15-20k danes paying to see their hero punishing bums like Green? Magee the dane killer? yeah sure,but isn't him the reason most of the danes **** on Bute's resumee?who necks,Johnson or Mendy?

 

I wouldn't bet too much against Magee in this fight.
In my book Magee is an accurate copy of Froch. So he does have a real chance.
