Kessler may have to fight Miranda for title

Unwarrented speculation. Warrented speculation concentrated on Mundines's 168. This was later confirmed.

 

Kesslers team made a terrible move by ****in up Showtime, Miranda and Dibella. They thought they could force Mundine to Copenhagen for his career highest payday, so that Kessler could get a belt. Mundine apparently doesnt want the fight and therefore Kessler + team are desperate to regain some credibility by fighting Miranda.

Kessler doesnt mind who he fights, as long as its for a title and at 168.

 

No...they weren't full of ****. They were speculating, with Green out of the picture. However, their specualtion was not as warranted as speculation suggesting he would aim for Mundine's 168, as facts later confirmed.

 

And in doing so Palle might have blown his shot and making this fight happen.

 

I dont think the networks are as pissed as some think. They would market Kessler again if they got the opportunity. Eventually set something up with PAvlik, RJJ, Bad Chad, Lacy, Green or maybe even Winky.

 

I'm not one to let a sporting event factor into my happiness but let me tell u, I'm gonna be wearing a big smile for a long time once Miranda and his stupid legion of fans are shut down by the Viking Warrior. Don't forget that Mikkel lost to an undefeated p4p guy who just happened to be the longest reigning champion in boxing. Suddenly, the floodgates have opened and everybody sees Kessler as being more beatable than he is when in actuality he had never even come close to losing a fight prior to Calzaghe. In addition, it's not like he didn't give a good account of himself in his lone defeat. Everybody was on the Lacy bandwagon and Calzaghe turned him into Tyrell Biggs. Kessler won a good 4 rounds and made Joe fight til the very end. If Miranda and Kessler fight it's gonna be another reminder for people to be careful what they wish for.

 

Kessler had a ****in broken hand from round 1. Impressive to keep up with The Dragon at that pace for 12 with a broken hand

Kessler will school Miranda and there can be no doubt about it.

 

People have fallen in love with Miranda's power and love sometimes clouds our better judgment. I thought fighting Andrade was risky for Kessler and look what he did to him.

I have little faith in this fight coming off anytime soon.
They should fight later this year, but I am more than confident that Kessler will fight either Mundine or for the vacant title with some bum, unfortunately. Miranda will probably meet someone in the Bika-esque and prevail.. then they should face off for a title.

IF they could put them on for the vacant title, I would be more than happy, but its not that easy, Mundine won't be throwing any titles in the trashcan ala Riddick Bowe just yet.

 

The WBA is fukking stupid and none of these guys should be fighting for a belt. If im not mistaken Kessler lost the WBA belt to Calzaghe. so why in the fuk is he tring to fight Mundine to get it back?? This is the problem with boxing today. Kessler was the WBA champ...but wait Mundine was the WBA champ:huh

The wba is crap and just handing out straps so they can suck up fees. This sh*t is getting old. getting belts without fighting champs. Mundine getting the title in the first place was bull. He won a vacant title that was actaully held by Kessler, by fighting a guy that was a middleweight in Soliman. Now Kessler who was the real champ wants to get a belt that he lost to Calzaghe by fighting mundine.

Damn I wish someone would fix this crap.
