Kessler didn't want to lose he's biggest payday and knew that if he backed out then the fight was gone..

Kesslers trainer said after the fight that Kessler needed some air from 6 round and forward and I think it was very easy to see that he hasen't been boxing training for 14 days .. :smoke

let's see if Calzaghe is a man for a rematch I don't think so but I hope he will after the Hopkins fight..

Kessler can only do it better..

I think he'll face Mundine next in Aus..

    no excuse just facts

    Unfortunately not.

Attached is an article with a picture from saturday where he held an autograph signing at the local mall. There is not really any news in the article.

From what i can judge i do not think that he will have any mental scars from the fight, but you never know 100% before he next fight is over.

Haha - this "hand injury" bull**** is funny. Apparently it was the RIGHT hand as well!! The right hand that caught Joe with at least 3 full power crosses and two undeniably hard uppercuts! Anyone citing these "facts" as proof that Kessler was ill prepared needs to see a doctor.

lol, utter garbage, if he'd not been training for 2 weeks I'm shocked his weight was so spot on for the fight and that he threw a punch total similar to his other fights. Kessler's got one obvious weakness that may now well get exploited, and that is he doesn't like it to the body. A rematch I dare say he'd get KO'd inside the distance from a body shot, the Calzaghe camp will have watched the reaction from those now and know how to hurt him.

Kessler looked great in defeat, it's a shame the same cant be said for some of his fans (maybe not even fans, just JC haters?)

Yes, there is still hope for Bute in 2009 or so against Kessler...Bute loves to hit to the body...he hasn't been doing it so much against Bika or Berrio, because against Bika it would have been pointless and against Berrio, it would have been dangerous and silly, given Berrio's chin.

Yeah Kessler looked great ...but please do not believe that every Kessler fans are a like :!: (and Yes I'm still one)
But you could say the same thing about some Joe's fans.....putting every fighter he's fought down so I guess both fan bases got their share of nutthuggers :nut

    Joe won fair and square!!!!
