Just heard danish TV3+ claim that they had upcomming news about Kessler heading for the "german market". I think he may be changing promoter. I hope that's what they meant anyway. Had hoped for an american promoter but a german promoter is still way better than Palle - no future for him there

Yeah - but they said the german market over the american market, so I guess Saurland or Universum. Maybe that's why he fought Häussler because that fight had no point in a sports sense

Well, makes sense. Kessler is already known over here and liked quite a bit despite knocking out two Germans. Also there is as much money to make in Germany as is in the US, on average 4-5 million housholds are watching the boxing events at ARD/ZDF, a Klitschko fight on RTL makes between 15 to 20 million households. There´s quite a bit money to make. And Sauerland and Universum aren´t that far behind Arum, King or Golden Boy.

As a German and a Kessler fan I think that would be a good decision.

The best SMW nowerdays that Joe won´t fight any longer (a guess) under german promotion would be a great thing (at least for europe). Many Kessler fights on german TV is a great thing :)

Listen Kessler is NOT changing promoter, I guess "the story" is something about Kessler is now marketable in Germany after his recent victories against german based fighters.

Agreed it would also be much better for us Danes, that way we could get to see his fights for free on ARD, ZDF or RTL.

Team Palle had to sell the Haussler fight to national TV2, and not PPV as he would have liked, becouse most danes can watch German TV.

You are probably right, but I hope that Saurland or Universum (don't really know details about them) would call up Team Palle and buy them out. Mogens Palle isn't living much longer and I see no future with him and even less without him.

Kessler is with Palle as long as Palle is breathing. Palle has been in the game for over 50 years, it is his life, and Kessler is about all he has left.

And I for one think that Palle has managed Kesslers career very well!

    Even after Sartison and Häussler?

www.teampalle.dk isn't even updated. I'm :wall over the fact that Kessler is still with Palle. Kessler should tell Palle it's over and offer him either to get paid for getting out of his contract or simply break it and pay the damages.

Didn´t Sauerland have the tv-rights since they won the purse for the fight?
I thought that was the reason they aired it on tv2?

    You are right!
But i still dont think that fights aired in Germany could sell as PPV in Denmark or Scandinavia.
