Especially after Sartison! Palle managed to get Kessler a titlefight straight after a loss, a fight where he needed to work of the ringrust from a long layoff after the Calzaghe fight because of surgery to a broken hand.

Haussler was a forced mandatory, Palle did everything he could to get out of that one!

Palle knows his stuff, and has the connections to land the big fights. He is not a likable character, but in case of managing Kessler he has done very well!

I think Palle "builds-up" his fighters way, way to long and in the end they waste what could have been long career in top boxing on behalf of a single payday fight which they loose. Either that or they tire out even before they reach that goal

I really wish that if Kessler changes promoter then it will be a US based promoter and a good one. Dont go to Germany please.

Agreed. Ironically be allot better for us Danish boxing fans to get Sauerland as the leading promoter.

Sauerland or Universum? Big Bone and others pointed out Universum is much bigger and better.

The Columbian is Kesslers next mandatory at WBA... Not a voluntary defence and not Kesslers next opponent!

He is not fighting Gusmyl Perdomo next... The media made this story because he is ranked 2. after Kessler at WBA!

Gusmyl Perdomo has lost to Sartison by the way. The same Sartison that Kessler KO´d earlier this year!

    This has nothing to it.

I want to see Kessler fighting on the biggest stage, not as a German domestic *****.

He should sign with Golden Boy and go where the big fights are.

Its ok. Look at how Vitaly and Wlad ar getting promoted.

This may bring the money around to get the biggest names to come to Kessler. Not a bad idea. He wants to fight anyone, but right now they want too much. That may change now.

I would also like GBP, but that means GBP must wake up now. If they don't then Im happy with one of the big German promoters as well. We have seen Abraham going to the US and we have seen how German money dominate HW to bring the best fighters to Germany. A lot of money there and that could make things easier for Kessler.

Also, in the US Kessler may be built up with an idea of being handed to Ward or Direll etc. after a while - this will not happen in Germany. So there may even be advantages of going with a German promoter. Of course Kessler needs to make sure he is not caught in a Ottke-like situation. I dont think he will be though because many Germans have learned from this and know that this was not the way to create an international star.
