    Bute team do not want him fighting Froch, Abraham, Dirrell or Ward. They don't even want him to fight Pascal.

    Give Green a shobox date and a guarenteed fight agaisnt one of the losers on the final undercard.

    It's a shame for the tourney, but it's not really a big surprise. Kessler did seem to be a bit battle-worn.

    Hopefully this increases the chances of that Canadian/Romanian muffin coming out of the shadows, stepping up and stops shouting he's the best super middle whilst feasting on a diet of stiffs behind the lines of protective custody.

    Very disappointing. Hopefully the Super 6 doesn't collapse because of this and Showtime try to fix it, either by bringing in another fighter or making the next bouts the semi's as someone said. That is a great idea!

    It would be a shame for it to fall now; I've really enjoyed the tournament so far.

    An injury such as the one Kessler is carrying could well be career ending...as someone pointed out earlier it could go again at anytime.

    Am I the only one who is uncharitable and smells a bit of a rat?...."I want to take on the winner of the Super 6 in 2011". I bet he does, especially given that all the prizes will be in one basket without going to the effort of two more fights in the competition (just a thought)

    The "early part of 2011" bit makes me think they will make the Froch v Abraham and Ward v Dirrell fights the semi's as it's the only way they could have the final in early 2011

    If that had been the case he'd never have entered the tournament. And if he's going to fail a medical and get stripped, he's better just holding off and getting the best deal he can.

    They have got to get the WBC belt back into the tournament as the tournament was partly designed to unify the belts so Froch vs Abraham for the vacant belt makes perfect sense.

    Zero of chance of Bute coming in and Green should not be in the tournament but showtime will have to sweeten him somehow to stop lawsuits.
