Kessler pulling out of the Super 6 due to long term injury

This has crossed my mind.

I like Kessler and don't believe it's true.

But this way he gets his shot at Ward without going through Green and then Froch or Abraham first.

 

No I don't think that makes much sense, he would have had a lucrative home match-up against a relatively easy opponent next, and then a big match in the semis.

Even if he is around after the final, there's no guarantee he'd get a pop at the winner, cause if it's Ward people might not want the rematch.

Plus it's not like he's getting to take his title and run.

I think we could rule out anything cynical going on here.

 

It'll be the Saturday night the day before the Superbowl. HBO are trying to get Alexander v Bradley on that night too.

Its reported on the scene that it looks like Green is getting the boot.:good

 

rob had the bestn idea in making the next fights the semi's

also rob, was it ur idea or say somewhere bout the final being in vegas or MSG. id defo fancy vegas again if froch is in the final

 

Shame they can't make that useless twat retire.

 

Or somebody on the GF was saying, give Ward a by into the semis, and then have Dirrell fight Green. That wouldn't be too bad an idea

I hope the tournament doesnt somehow break up it has brought so many good matches its a shame because any possible tourneys at other weights are less likely to be made now in view of there being 2 fighters dropping out of the super 6.
Hopefully tournament or not Froch Abraham goes ahead for the vacant belt. Though looking at the rankings i can see the Americans withdrawing with what they have Ward his WBA and Dirrel being the mandatory for the WBC might chase a rematch with Forch in the states....nobody wants to see that fight again

 

Why should Ward get a bye when he wasn't down to fight Kessler??
