Kessler pulling out of the Super 6 due to long term injury

Because he's already qualified for the next round. If you wanted to have another series of fights before the semis, then he's the obvious one to leave out.

I'm fine with just going straight to the semis as well though, just another idea I thought could work.

 

Ward is already in the Semi so its pointless giving him a bye!!

Green should be paid off and let the next round of fights be the semis.

 

Dan Rafael has also being told it could be straight to semis

 

Was initially disappointed with the news, but having Froch-Abraham a semi-final with the WBC on the line would lighten the blow significantly.

 

He means give Ward a bye for the 3rd round of the group stage which frees up Dirrell to fight Green but straight to semis is betting if they can get rid of Green without trouble

 

straight to semi's would be the best option i think everyone from fans to them involved in the super six just want the whole thing to move on more now...

Yep, Rob's idea is spot on.

It's a bit of a blow to the tourney but I guess they could and probably will just kick Allan Green to the curb (which is a good thing) and move straight to the semis. Froch vs AA will be for Kessler's belt and Ward vs Dirrell for the WBA belt. Then you're guranteed a "Euro" vs Yank final for all the marbles. Works out ok.

But i'm not liking the lack of promotion or confirmed venues for these fights. Hopefully they don't scrap the whole thing.

 

wont look good for boxing the first time they try this sort of big tournement for them to scrap it half way through

 

They've got 4 sets of fighters, promoters etc to deal with. It'll take time to thrash out.

Now hear me out fellas...Kessler is not gonna have that layoff and then face a top notch guy, Taylor provides a 'test' and a payday. Taylor WILL comeback to still a few more dollers.

JT has taken time off to recuperate and to organically get his body up to a "true" 168 and not artificially up with free weights, slow bulk. the rumors are that Jermaine has cut out the red meat and gone strictly on pasta and veggies a la Ex and Shilstone. This would be the ultimate clash to make JT relevant again. Perhaps Winky could be cherry popped by JT and ripe to fall again at 168 due to inactivity, Krispy Kream diet and father time. Pavlik no way, too much muscle memory.

Seeing as I regard you as friend on this forum Slip I will refrain from commenting on that last post.

 

Kessler vs Pavlik is something I would defo pay to see, that would be a no messing shoot-out
