Kessler declined 3 million $ offer to fight with Bute. How fair do you think the offer was ? http://translate.google.com/transla...ui.html&hl=en&langpair=auto|en&tbb=1&ie=UTF-8
jesus if that's true i guess kessler really is ducking bute... can't blame him.... stieglitz is easy picking + belt then he can proly get super 6 winner
He'll earn nearly the same fighting the on paper easier Stieglitz on Europe. There has to be a fairly big reward for travelling across the Atlantic. Sauerland gave Bute a counteroffer for a fight in Denmark, but Bute did not want to leave his comfortzone. Kessler has shown his willingness to travel in the past and he'll likely travel again after Stieglitz. Will Bute ever leave North America? I wouldn't count on it.
I don't think Bute is anything special but Kessler would need another fight before taking him on. Mikkel looked very open in his last fight.
It all depends, if Bute is making 3 Million then its a duck . If Bute is making 10 million and wants Kessler to work for him for the rest of his career , then Kessler is making the right decision. Its easy to call out a number without the detail.
Before we all jump down Kesslers throat does anyone know how much he will make fighting Steglitz in Demark? I'm sure he'll be making well over a mil and also how much would Bute have been making? Anything other then 50/50 I really cant blame Kessler for turning down.
he still worries of his eyes health. he'd better fight 2 or more fights, then after he has felt better, he might fight stieglitz, bute, or even rematch with ward!
If Kessler wins, a potential fight with Bute could then be a much bigger unification bout if all the chips fall into place. Smart move.
3 million lol! Kessler would fight Bute/Ward/Froch back to back in one night in Mongolia for 3 million quid!!!Love to know where this nonsense starts
And Bute refused a counter offer from Sauerland to fight in Denmark. What's your point? Kessler would make that kind of money fighting stiffs in DK. You haven't a leg to stand on...
