How fair was the offer? Butes camp turned down the counter offer from Sauerland to fight in Denmark. So that really says that Butes camp didnt think it was fair.

Kessler can probably make more or less (probably less) the same money fighting Stieglitz in Germany or Denmark.. It is a much easier and safer route to a belt.. And he is mendy to Stieglitz, so why not take the fight? When he have the belt, all his fights in the future will be worth more money, no matter who it is, or where it is..

We really dont know if their was a counter offer and the 3M$ we dont know what else. Like others said if it was 50/50 it was good, but we really dont know.

So since we dont have any idea, I think we should just set down a bit and stop calling one boxer or the other a duck. Kessler went for what is best for him and Bute is chasing somebody else, that's all we know for now.

Bute probably goes Klit style and pays his opponent 1/50 of what he takes himself.

    :patsch

    1. Where is the valid source of that claim?
    2. Sauerland made a counteroffer to which Bute has not yet replied.
    3. They're in a stranglehold of venue, it's obvious Bute doesn't want to leave Canada for a fight, whereas Kessler already left his home town for bigger fights than Bute.

    4. Kessler can fight for Stieglitz belt, win it and exercise his emeritus status, unifying two belts (THE WBC AND THE WBO)

Kessler has options, I suppose Bute is trying his best to get the dead carcass in Pavlik to go to Canada now instead. :rofl
Not yet a ****ing word of him interested in Andre Dirrell, he' a duck duck goose champion for sure.

Bute has to have the lions share AND hometown advantage.

AND his opponents must be coming off career-threatening injuries, or simply be bags of bones to begin with.

What do you think the total revenue would be between Kessler-Bute in Montreal? It'd do huge numbers and you know it.

$15-20m revenue, as it would be in Germany/Denmark. Meaning Interbox is offering Kessler and his promotional company/team $3m out of a total estimated $15-20m.

Does that seem fair to you?

Bute and his people will not even begin to consider fighting Kessler in Denmark.

Fighting a top 168lber is a stretch enough for Bute, doing it away from the Bell Centre is unthinkable.:yep

No link and I believe what? The fact that Sauerland made a counter-offer? There's been multiple links on that subject.

Believe what you will, but you, me and the world knows the total revenue for such a fight is more than $6m, meaning Bute and InterBox wants the gross lion share and hometown advantage.

    So much for a champion.
