Funny to see what might have trickered Kessler's final barrage. The camera angle in the video above reveals a clear gap in Sartisons defense at exactly 1min 45secs into the clip. You have to look careful but the gap is there. It almost look as if a switch is turned on on Kessler when he spots the gap. Kessler sees the opening and goes on full attack, similar to what happens to beasts when prey start escape maneuvres. Animal behaviour from the beast! Makes sense though.:respect
It could easily have been stopped far earlier for Sartison not fighting back. Do you think round 11 and 12 were between 2 fighters? It was no longer a fight and the ref was apparently on the edge of just waving it off for Sartison being pure prey. Then when he was knocked down and rolled over I think it was fully justified. With Sartison collapsing and in hospital I think one has to see this through strange glasses to suggest there was any purpose in letting the punishment continue.
Ya I got it on Bittorrent last night, I was suprised Sartison almost dropped Kessler, more compeitive fight then I had heard. I didn't think it would go very far when I first heard about it.
Kessler looked good in everything but timing, which ring rust attributed to that. He did not look slower like some said and I was glad to see a more varied work thrown throughout the fight, that's a good sign for things to come.
