Yes - Kessler is a "2-time only fighter a year". I don't think he will fight past the age of 31.

This leaves perhaps 5 fights for him. But it doesn't matter that much, if the 3 fights will be top-fights.

E.g. perhaps Taylor or RJJ later this year - and then a unification-bout against Bute in 2009 - and perhaps a mega-fight with Pavlik in 2009-2010 to end it off. :bbb

Palle was saying that a RJJ Vs. Kessler match was very probable should Kessler win the vacant title. I don´t really trust Palle though.

There's no reason to trust Palle. If Jones gets dominated and/or stopped by Calzaghe, no American TV network will be interested in paying Roy's demands. Jones gets one more shot; the next time he loses, he's out.

Kessler needs to fight Taylor, another bout I think he should win.

I would very much like to see Kessler fight Taylor. I would like to see him fight Pavlik as well, but I don´t see that happening.

I think RJJ would be very interested in that fight - provided he can't get a go at Calzaghe. But Taylor would also be an interesting match-up. And what about Miranda - he will be mandatory...:bbb

Why shouldn't Taylor be interesting in still proving himself. And as far
as I know, he hasn't got any titles now:hey
Taylor's fine performance in his last meeting with Pavlik doesn't make the fight less interesting. And we get two skillfull technical fighters facing each other. It will be a very watchable fight. And when Kessler blasts out Sartison on 21 June, Kessler's stocks doesn't drop....:bbb

Sean is right in saying that Sartison is a lot better than most people thought previously.

I was quite impressed with Sartsion's last performance against Nievas, too.
He totally dominated his tough Argie foe stopping him inside the distance.Nievas had gone the full distance with Mundine in his previous fight.
Not only was the result of that fight so impressive but he way the systimatically dismantled his tough foe as well. Despite being under fire from time to time he held the forth and stayed cool as a cucumber beautifully counterboxing the wild attacks of his foe.

Sartison also showed a classy performance when he fought the game but glass chinned Czech Bilak on his home turf in front of a huge and hostile crowd.

On the other hand he had a very close fight with his stable mate Perdomo and looked horrible against an African journeyman who had been bombed out of the ring within 2 rounds by Vitaly Tsypko in his previous fight.

Sartison is the huge underdog against Kessler.

    Kessler by tko or ko.
