His career sure isn't looking good. The man turns down a big, fan friendly, and extremely winnable fight with Miranda in favor of defending against terrible European mandatories. Hopefully 2009 doesn't end in the same kind of wash. I want to see Kessler in with the big names again.

Kessler will be back, he will squise Haussler in between in his schedule.

    Team Palle strikes again!!
Maybe we should start at petition to release Kessler from his contract due to incompetence, personally i would prefer Don King over Palle.

I will problably end up paying for it. If you get some people together its bearable. But the cheapest seats to the event cost the same as ppv.

Sorry to say! But Palle has done a great job promoting kessler so far! In which areas has Palle failed in his promotion of Kessler?

No doubt that Miranda is a more notable opponent than Sartison, but Palle went for the title-shot in the end, believing that it will lead to bigger things in the future!

I have no problem with people being frustrated!

We would all rather see Kessler fighting the best out there at 168.

A way to fight the best is collecting world titles, it has worked before for Kessler and Palle, and it seems to be the road they have choosen once again!

I was reading this thread to see if this would come up. Isn't Miranda #2 NOW!. Why this other guy in the mix?

Well, we shouldnt mix them in the same bottle, bodysnatcher! Haussler is a living punching bag. Admittingly,he can take a punch, but his skills are mediocre and he cant crack an egg with his soft punches. He even struggles with totally unknown journeymen.
Sartison is an undefeated young fighter who looked quite convincing in his last outing to a ring.
I dare to say that Sartison plays in a different league. Kessler takes a risk in accepting such an opponent. Sartison is an unknown question mark.
He may pose a real threat to Kessler. Haussler certainly is no threat at all-neither to Kessler nor to any other top20 supermiddle weight.

I'm not sure why people hate Kessler for taking this route. Who the **** wants to fight him when he doesn't offer anything? Taylor won't fight him. Pavlik wouldn't want any of it.

Getting a belt puts Kessler back in the mix

Well, why would Pavlik want him if he can bypass him and go straight for Ole Joe? And why did the WBA rate Miranda #2 and then not have him in this mix?
