Kessler: Sparring partner got a beating and was sent home

    And in it Kessler says that he had a German sparring partner who got so thorough a beating that he had to be sent home and not come back on another day.

    People are thinking that perhaps it was Karo Murat. Additionally, Murat said before his sparring with Kessler that he looked forward to it and that it would prepare him well for the defence of this European SMW belt. However, after a days sparring with Kessler, a couple of days go by and Murat announces that he will relinquish his belt to pursue a carreer in LHW.

    It looks like Murat is doing ok, but of course these couple of minutes were posted by a Murat fan, so who know what the rest looked like?

    Looks like light sparring and Kessler got clocked a few times, even right in the face at the end. Must have pissed him off so he KO'd the guy. Haha

    Yes, it does. He says his hands are hurting, and he had them checked. Nothing is broken and he says it's normal to have very sore hands when trainign up to a fight.

    Ward seems to have some excellent boxing skills, but I don't know if he can hold Kessler off for 12 rounds. I'm a big Kessler fan. I'm just thrilled he's actually getting the opportunity to come here and fight.
