Kessler-Taylor or Pavlik-Abraham...Which would you want to see???

tough decision, but I would go for the MW unification

 

Andrade is either number 2 or number 3, but since he's fought Kessler before, a fight against Bute would be more interesting.

 

Well I'd cleary want to see both, but if i had to choose one over the other it would be Pavlik - Abraham. It's a more evenly matched fight and would settle once and for all who the best middleweight in the world is. Probably the more entertaining of the two fights as well.

Kessler - Taylor is easier to pick as I basically see Mikkel as the better fighter who should win, and win big. Likely by KO.

Both. Easy question. But if I really have to pick one over the other, it would be Kessler v Taylor. I would rahter see it.

 

At this point I'd like to see Pavlik take on Felix Sturm first. Ever since his loss to Hopkins, Sturm has been making some noise about a fight with Pavlik. ( Probably because he thinks Pavlik is vulnerable ) It's possible he's actually serious and if so Pavlik should jump on the opportunity now before Sturm gets cold feet and goes back to his normal practice of fighting nobodies. If Pavlik fights Abraham first then a Sturm fight will NEVER happen. If Pavlik wins he'll scare Sturm off. If he loses he'll no longer have the belts and Sturm won't be interested.

 

Dawson v Kessler is the fight for me.

I think Taylor is not a really SMW, is cracking on a bit or will be when/if him and Kesser ever meet. He's perhaps already past his best today.

Pavlik-Abraham

 

These are in no way mutually exclusive. :?

That said, I would favor Kessler a great deal over Taylor, who is not yet a proven Super Middleweight in my view (oh boy, he beat a dinged-up, confidence-drained Lacy).

I favor Abraham a good deal over Pavlik but not enough to call it a mismatch (as is Kessler-Taylor...an A/A+ SMW vs. a B+ MW...absolute no-brainer).

Abraham-Pavlik is the presumably closer fight, certainly the more explosive, and undeniably more relevant to its division (as I said, Taylor is not automatically a top dog at 168 based on one fight, regardless of prior accomplishments).

Yeah. Kessler/Taylor seems like a pipe dream at the moment to be sure. Kessler/anyonewithapulse seems to be hard for Palle to pull off.

Why is Palle still in the picture? I haven't had time to comb through the pages of banter in any of the Kessler threads for factual information, but what is the hold-up in terms of contractual obligation? When can he just walk away, or what would be the repercussions if he did right now?
