Both would be one of the best fights available today. I'd like Abraham-Pavlik a bit more because it's slugger vs slugger, but Kessler vs Taylor would be awesome as well. Taylor looked very good in his last outing against Lacy.

I guess I was overwhelmed by the haters usual crap. Taylor was knocked down, Lacy is shot, etc....

    Both.

If I had to choose I'd like to see Kessler-Taylor as I'm a Kessler fan.

Kessler/Taylor would be a very competetive fight. Taylor's hand speed would give Kessler fits. Kessler's skills would make it hard for JT to reaaly get going. Good fight.

Pavlik/Abraham needs to happen as well. Abraham needs to quit playing champion with the belt JT vacated, and give Pavlik's title back to him.

i think aa is a monster but what real proof do we have that he is as good as people say he is . if aa and hopkins fought aa would have a defeat to atleast pavlik beat a couple ex world champs bronco mckart and taylor twice he ko,d miranda. aa on the other hand beat miranda twice and the first fight he would have lost if the ref didnt keep taking points he also let doctor work on him for a long time

    Pavlik Abraham.

This is close to a 50/50 fight and would provide anticipation and suspense.

I don't have much doubt as to the outcome of Kessler and Taylor.

Still better, put them both on the same card.

Well, as of now, Mogens Palle (as promoter) has the contractual rights to Kesslers next 3 VOLUNTARY defenses of his WBA strap.
Bettina Palle (Mogens' Daughter) has a contract for being Kesslers manager until february 2010.

If Kessler drops the WBA belt, he could actually be free from Mogens Palle instantly (but not from Bettina until a year from now).

There is just one thing: Mogens Palle has previously made contracts with fighters, stating that the fighter, if breaking contract with Palle, should cease fighting until he is no longer rated, and then have a 2 year quarantine before signing with any other promoters..... (That's what happened to Mads Larsen)

So, if such a clause exists, Kessler is royally screwed, if he walks away...
-On the other hand, how long would it take to make 3 voluntary defenses, besides the mandatories, when Kessler fights twice a year ????
That would mean at least 3 more years with Mogens Palle, who Post-Calzaghe hasn't really been able to listen to Kesslers wishes, or to get the fights, Kessler deserves...
(Hmm... maybe actually post-Sartison, because Kessler stated, that his highest wish after losing to Calzaghe, would be to have a belt again, and Palle delivered in the first match..)

-But still, I can understand why Kessler is trying (through his lawyers) to get out of the situation....

i want to see both! however as far as excitement and potential for a ko, i lean more to pavlik-abraham. more belts at stake, plus two fighters with great ko records. also there's only 1 lost between pavlik-abraham.

with kessler-taylor that too will be a great fight to watch, but it will be a more thinking man's fight with both fighters more inclined to box to victory and if a ko comes it comes. also there are 3 losses between those two and less belts.

maybe it's a silly rationale, but if i was forced to pick that is why i go with pavlik-abraham :good
