Thats what i was thinking. Kessler never took an official scorecard off Joe.

Hopkins was the tougher fight for Joe.

    This thread is utterly ridiculous.

"Took more rounds off JC" than Hopkins? No.

Did he knock down Joe? No.

    Did he hurt Joe? No.

Was he hurt BY Joe? Yes.

This is Joe's signature win, period. And congrats to him for being adaptable enough and in fantastic physical condition to get the job done.

A 43 year old Hopkins came closer to beating Joe than Kessler did.

    Kessler is a good fighter.

Hopkins would pot shot and hold. Calzaghe made the fight.

Watch the reaction of Joe straight after the Kessler fight and his reaction straight after the Hopkins one.

His face in one is of shear celebration after Kessler, the other of the stark reality that he may have lost after Hopkins.

Hopkins could have won tonight, stop fooling yourselves. Kessler was a total push over for Calzaghe after the early rounds.

Nearly every Hop V Cal round could have been given either way. Except round one where Hopkins knocked out Calzaghe.

349-335 instead of 344-337...yeah - closer, but not a whole lot closer even on the judges' scorecards. And since when are official judges infallible arbiters of who won a fight?

I think Joe had a tougher time with Hops than Kessler.
