I agree with the life and death struggle, but you can't really call Kessler a bum. I've trash talked him a lot in response the the calzombies, but he is pretty damn good, and Joe made him look like the proverbial deer in the headlights.

Not surprised you beat me to the obvious here.

 

I don't disagree that Kessler is strong in several areas but he doesn't appear to be as good as some suggest (his fortitude seems far from that found in the elite) .. also don't feel Joe 'boxed circles' around him ... it was closer than that ... both fighters are overrated and lack certain qualities and/or abilities that define the real 'elite' or talented. They are both better than decent ... just not great. Way too many fights against lousy comp in their primes has probably not helped their development ... on the other hand ... perhaps that kind of test would have been too much for them ... this way they have had financially successful careers ... but likely have just avoided 'exposure' as opposed to developing into what their fans contend is their actual status or ring quality.
