Bute fans calling Kessler a ducker... Funny stuff...
Bute has been ducking Kessler for many years (according to Bute's team he wasn't ready for Kessler at the time) I guess Bute is ready for a half blinded Kessler and some "respect".

What are you talking about? Froch and Ward will be in the final more than likely. How could Kessler face them before the end ot the tournament?

Anyway, Kessler is not calling Froch, he is calling Stieglitz instead of Bute, who is available and who wants Kessler.

You want Bute to step up? Why don't you ask for a Bute-Kessler fight?

Bute wanted an optional defense after he grabbed his title. A boxer career can be short... And Kessler had already many fights when he became champ, Bute had not much. Anyway, that was theory, because Kessler was in line to fight Calzaghe. He didn't have time to fight Bute.

Interbox and Palle were negociating for a spring 2008 bout between both guys but Kessler got caught in litigation with his promoter. Bute wanted the fight 2 years ago.

After that, Kessler have never been available, until now.

    Do your homework.

Bute could have had the fight earlier but according to his team he wasn't ready for Kessler yet... That is a fact.

    Do your homework mr. Bute...

You won't have one, because you are just repeating false facts you have read like a stupid parrot.

After Kessler fought Calzaghe Bute was asked but he declined (Kessler had problems finding opponents and his problems with Palle started)...

I know its hard to believe a guy like Bute, who has fought in Montreal his whole life, would be ducking anybody...

Check out Bute's statement at 3.55.... HMMMMMM

This will actually be a great fight.

If Kessler is unaffected by rust and at least at or above the level of the Froch fight, he should be able to stop Stieglitz in a similar type of war (except more one-sided in Kessler's favor...although he will take damage).

If Kessler has slid further, it could actually be more competitive than one might expect.

Stieglitz doesn't excel in any one area...far from it, in fact - but he's a very plucky fighter who's also no worse than average in any one area, and his biggest flaw - his eagerness to go to war so often - could be his biggest strength here...or his undoing, depending on what manner of Kessler we get. He cops a lot of flack for being perceived as a weak titlist and while he certainly isn't a strong one he at least gives the fans their money's (or time's) worth by fighting with an entertaining style, more so than just about any other active German boxer.

Judging by Kessler-Froch and Stieglitz-Andrade this can't be anything less than edge-of-your-seat excitement.

My tentative pick is Kessler by late stoppage...but with so many unknown variables surrounding him, anything could happen.

    :rofl

Never thought that Interbox could have had talks with Hennessy for a fight against Froch? Which would easily explains why he said: is there only one champion?

OMG, is it your only source?

BTW, it was not after Kessler-Calzaghe but one year later (after first Andrade-Bute). Kessler had decided then to take the WBA way: Sartison and Haussler. He NEVER called Bute at that time. In fact, Kessler never called Bute, period. Kessler was supposed to fight Mads Larsen. Interbox and Palle had talks for that spring and Palle got out of it for Mads Larsen. How long was Bute supposed to wait? Maybe Kessler wanted to fight Bute then and maybe that's why he got mad at Palle, who decided to milk his title against Larsen.

If you want my opinion, people thought at that time that Kessler was taking the easy path... like now. Except he has a good reason today if his eyes are not completely ok.

You know who was the man to beat at SMW at that time... It sure wasn't Froch...

Bute was waiting for Kessler. Not his fault if Palle preferred a fight against Larsen, whch finally never happened.

If your only reason to say that Bute ducked Kessler for many years, as you said, is this little english-romanian interview, you should shut up.

Sartison, Haussler and Perdomo, I call that an easy path. I just hope he won't need 3 tune up fights this time.

I'll repeat one more time: Bute and Kessler's promoters had talks for a spring 2008 fight. Bute was available, Kessler not. What was Bute supposed to do? Sit and wait? His promoter tried another way, Froch, but Froch had to heal from his fight against Taylor and Bute chose to give a rematch to Andrade, which is understandable for all but haters.

Can you spell Milkman from Montreal... But seriously His best win Andrade is probably on par with Sartison...

Andrade was and is a walking punchbag which everyone knew long time before Bute got KTFOed...:yep

All you have left are your fanboy/hater arguments. If Kessler wants to show he's better than Bute, he only has to fight him. Because whatever you say, Kessler is the one who was never available for a fight. Not ducking but not available, for all kinds of reasons. Surgery and Palle are the 2 main reasons.

Hey man. I'm not sure who would win a fight between Bute and Kessler now nor 4 four years ago. All i'm saying is that Kessler always took risks which is still to be seen from Bute...
BTW I think Bute is a very talented fighter who maybe could be the best SMW right now.
