    What am I distorting? :huh

I don't give a **** who Calzaghe rates where in the grand scheme of things. I've seen both fights, and in my opinion, Reid gave him a tougher time.

Well it's hard to determine whether or not they are wrong regarding Reid being his toughest fight. It's certainly not that insane to suggest it thats for sure.

Not clinically insane perhaps, but it is actually rare that we can say that we have the fighter's own words to settle our disagreements. Here we actually happen to have Joe Calzaghe's own words.

Rarely has there been better evidence in a ESB dispute - so to keep arguing that some poster on ESB knows better than Joe what Joe thinks... that seems like something that could be almost considered clinically insane. Almost.:yep

I dont think people are saying that Reid is a better fighter than Kessler, just that he gave him a tougher fight.

Two very different things, also there could be ulterior motives involved with Calzaghe saying such. Plus it's a more recent event for him.

I believe Calzaghe said or insinuated a while ago that Bika gave him his hardest fight yet too. That doesn't mean that Bika is a better fighter than Reid was, or other names on his resume.

    See what I'm saying here?

I think Kessler has a chance against Dawson if they ever fought. I know Dawson is a good young fighter with speed, but I think this because his chin worries me. Every second of his fights now, I am scared Chad will get hit with something, and get buzzed or hurt, and maybe go down. His chin isn't the worst and he hasn't been KO'd, but the Adamek fight was scary at the end, and there was a round there in the Glen Johnson fight that was scary too. Glen Johnson crossed his arms at the end of the round, stood there and gave his Road Warrior look.

Of course Kessler would have a chance.

Btw, don't buy into this "glass chin" stuff some are mumbling about, the guy is a great fighter with a decent chin.

    A bit shortsighted on here.

Froch may beat Pascal for the WBC belt. Froch has power & star quality, and will likely call Kessler out if successful next month. This is the only unification I can see happening.

Can anyone name two massive (physically) middleweights, who struggle to make 160? And which division do you think they will move up to? And maybe would they want a title shot at someone like Kessler?? I'll do it for you, Arthur Abraham and Kelly Pavlik.

Can anyone name some good Yank prospects, the type that get paymasters such as Showtime excited? Dirrell, perhaps? Ward, maybe? Anyone who's been watching will see that Dirrell has moved from prospect to contender.

As to Sartison and Haussler fights...Anyone know that Sartison and Haussler were atop the WBA rankings, and that Kessler had to fight them to win back, and keep, his old title.

Final question, didn't Dawson miss fights with Cloud, Diaconu and Glen Johnson rematch.

I guess his response to this will be that "Tarver doesn't hit that hard anymore" etc.

Exactly. Kessler needs to grow into a LHW. Just because they are a couple of lbs apart does not mean a guy like Kessler can just walk right into a fight against one of the best guys at 175 when Kessler fights at 168. Kessler isn't Roy Jones, Hop or Calzaghe lol...
