Anyone who would disagree with this needs their head examined.

After a year of Kessler needs a tuneup fight in the Summer first maybe another one in the autum.

Maybe a Kessler - Bute fight can take place parallel to the Supersixfinale next november or december

I like Bute as a fighter and is the most talented at 168 but hes has no right to call Kessler a coward. Kessler has faced better fighters than Bute and shown more toughness

Bute's footwork trumps all over Kessler's. Handspeed is comparable with a slight edge to Bute for a stiff jab & an explosive left. Kessler's 1-2's are really predictable, Ward showed how to time his aggression. Bute's head movement is also superior to Kessler's IMO. Bute is more of a counterpuncher than Kessler is, and Larouche would work with Lucian to kill Kessler countering the big right hands.

Now refute all of my points if you wanna play smartass.

    exactly.

    ****ing obvious right?

    I mean, too obvious.

After the shithole that the super six has gone through, this would bring it right back out.

Would be awsome if Bute and Kessler fought before the S6 was over but I don't think we will get that lucky to be honest.

Man, you are something! If you ain't able to see that Bute is fast, very accurate and has good lateral movements, you are dumb ... or you're spending the rest of your life protecting Calzaghe's resume, which is pretty pathetic.

I think both options apply to you.

If that's the case, then I take back what I said about them needing to face off in order to determine who gets the winner.

I'd like to say that I figure Showtime would have had contingency plans ready in case a fighter with a belt had to bow out, but based on the way they seemed blindsided by many of the potholes that have come up, I can't.

I hope he has the chance to take a tune-up fight before he jumps in with the S6 winner or Bute. I think Kessler's best days are behind him, before he even entered the S6, and this injury/lay-off can only hurt him. I'd love to see him come back and go on an epic run, he's one of my favorite fighters, but that just isn't going to happen. He loses against the next top flight opponent he faces including Bute or Froch.

To be fair, the loser of the final deserves first crack. Followed by kessler.

Bute should fight steiglitz for the right to face the winner of the s6 rematch and kessler.

The truth is, after beating miranda and andrade, bute has done fuk all, and because of the competitive nature of the s6, he has dropped down to about 4th place.
