Kessler update - speaks on Froch, Bute, S6 and return.

Froch is right to be bitter about his loss to Kessler, but it was close and I could def, see how it could be scored for Kessler, though I wouldn't call either a clear winner.
Kessler needs at least one fight before taking on the super six winner. It will also be interesting to see how much the eye affected his style, when he takes on another high caliber opponent. Btw Bute Kessler would be a great Matchup IMO

 

I would like to see Kessler beat Bute, but realistically at this point just don't see that happening. His eye is too messed up. I would favor Bute, against anybody at 168 including Ward and Froch.

 

You think Bute's opposition is not strong enough but you want him to face Stieglitz? Very strange indeed. I want Bute to face Kessler, Dirrell, Pavlik, Hopkins, Dawson. I don't care about Stieglitz, who has btw refused 3 offers to face Bute.

To be fair the loser already had a crack , he had the chance he lost it , give somebody else a chance maybe he can do better.

Stieglitz Luf? It's amazing to me with all the available opponents out there, that the guy has managed to stay irrelevant. One really has to try in order to do that.

Steiglitz doesn't deserve to be in the equation IMO.

The fact are:
Kessler have Emeritus status and could by these WBC rules ask for a shot with the winner right after the tournament.

He even could ask it before the end of the tournament.

But what I cant understand, is seeing and reading all these thread on this forum about how much silver, diamond, emeritus, etc. belt are crap and a shame. But then when its convenient for some people as we see in this thread, Kessler deserve the shot because he is Emeritus. Either dont agree with them, or agree with them, you cant have the best of both worlds.

 

Funny thing is... Bute has been ducking Kessler for many years... His trainer explained that Bute wasn't ready for Kessler and so on... And now when Kesslers eyes are ****ed all the Bute nuthuggers come out saying Kessler is "Ducking"... OMFG

 

The reason I say stieglitz is because it would unify two of the belts.

Perhaps kessler could come back vs dirrel with the winner fighting the winner of bute-stieglitz and that winner facing the winner of the s6.

He thing is with bute atm, because of the quality of his recent opposition he has dropped in rankings, and I believe that the s6 finalists will be ranked clear 1 and 2 by the time they meet. Hence we'll have a new champion and bute gets bypassed.

I like bute, he has a good style, is very effective and has shown vulnerability. I want him to stay relevant so there is genuine demand for him in big fights.

 

You gotta give some credit to Bute (and his team) to suddenly call out a fighter who is on the slide... Bravo

LAL! We all know its " Fight Kessler you ***** ". Kessler will and allways would fight Bute. Eventho if Kessler has to travel to Canada! Thats just who Kessler is!
