Bute gives him a true boxing lesson and stops him in late rounds ...

    What do you guys think?

Easy pick. Bute is a cautious fighter, unreasonably so, I don't think he has the aggression to offset Kessler's rhythm as Calzaghe did. No chance he wins a battle of the jabs, or any sort of fight from range.

    Kessler UD, 9-3.

Bute is a good boxer and Kessler is also cautious ... it would be a boxing match but I think that Bute has more power and more length to offset Kessler's attack.

Bute also has a good jab ...

Bute can slow the pace of the fight with his cautious style since if you make a mistake he makes you pay....Both have a good jab but Bute is more versatile as he goes to the body a lot (while Kessler don't) and Kessler's been hurt there before and that would slow him down....Bute also as the advantage of being a southpaw....

    Bute 116-112....

Not much point in it being in the US is there? Neither have any profile.

HBO are interested in Kessler, but only if he's fighting somebody known to the US

The fight is unlikely for a while. Probably until Kessler establishes himself over there.

I don't see either guy making the trek to the other's home turf just yet. Maybe they could pick a neutral location, one with a lot of rabid boxing fans who would come out and support it. Wales?

They wouldn't come out to watch Kessler - Bute in any serious numbers.

The fight just won't happen for that reason. There is no logical reason for them to make the fight now, rather than when it will make bigger money as their profiles grow

It is more likely Kessler would go to Canada than vice-versa though. He went to Australia to fight Mundine. No way Bute's handlers do anything like that.

He lost to Calzaghe and other than that is opposition is not "MUCH" better....

Well, it is really. Mundine and Andrade are considered better fighters than Berrio and Bika

Even though he lost to Calzaghe, its a learning experience, he's fought at that level

Mundine and Andrade are solid B levels, I don't think we could say the same about Bika and Berrio.
