Kessler would have an advantage at 175 compared to 168 because he'd outweigh Dawson by even more on the night at 175 than at 168, so let's give Dawson that advantage and make the fight at 168.
I don't know I like both, If dawson keeps getting better his style is a nightmare for kessler. right now I say kessler in a close fight.
yes at the mo kessler stops him in rd 11/12 but if dawson improves some more rifines his skill and gets abit more experiance i can see him winning a close u/d
I don't think Dawson has the chin to take Kessler's well timed precise rights. Dawson would cause all sorts of problems early on when he is at his sharpest, but when the pace slows Kessler would knock him out.
Dawson boxes a bit and looks great, then Kessler tricks him into trading with him. Dawson doesn't have the power to hurt Kessler. Kessler uses the 1-2 to break Dawson down and stops him. Same analysis as for Pavlik v. Dawson except this one's more obvious and the KO comes earlier.
Interesting matchup. If Kessler could find Dawson's chin the way that Adamek and Johnson found it - Dawson could be in for a short nap on the apron.
And Eddie Mustapha Muhammad goes:''You'r doing great, box hi,box him.I can see you'r getting a second wind in,keep boxing'' with Shaw asking for a rematch after the fight:yep
Chad Dawson because of his speed. Kessler would put up a good fight though and this would be close imo.
