    well that's easy: Kessler :)

Dawson: Adamek (one dimentional and slow), Johnson (old gatekeeper) and Tarver (overhyped to the laughable)

Kessler: Mundine (away), Andrade (who just beat Bute) and a close fight with P-4-P #2 Calzaghe (again away)

Their resumes are fairly even - but Kessler gets the upperhand because he has sought the big fights - even when it meant going to the opponent - he has worked from day one to unite the belts - Dawson is fighting mostly hasbeens and nobodies at home...

Please man, I know you are capable of better posts than this.

Kessler has the better resume? Check the P4P ranks. Dawson is in the top 12 now, Kessler is out of the top 20.

That says it all, in terms of resume.

Kessler will have to beat someone like Bute to equal Dawson's current accomplishments.

    :-((

Clear, UD losses don't give you much cred when judging resumes.

    Why do I bother?
Yeah you are right Dawson would KO Kessler within 3 rounds. No more,it wou;d be merciless,I can even see Chad putting his IRON chin out like Mayorga and letting the FEATHER-FISTED Mikkel hit him in a dazzling display of the sweet scince. You americans are delusional.Their resumes are kinda equal, maybe Kessler has a slight advantage. And in no way Dawson KO's this style match-up for him, nmaed Kessler. And yes,Dawson's power at LHW is somewhat similar to Calzaghe(a little better and helped by the 5-6 punch combos)

yeah - they are both from Europa and around the same height and and and... oh and nothing else... tsk tsk tsk

As for Dawsons speed - yes he is fast, but Calzaghe is faster and Kessler still got to him ... the uppercuts from round 4 of that fight would put Dawson down and out!

But it's all academic - these two aren't fighting for a few years - they both have other ways that makes much more sense than a fight between the two...

well Kessler beat the guy who just beat Bute by 120-108... so that should solve it. Both Andrade and Mundine where top5 in SMW ...

Adamek and Kessler have similar power, jab, chin and both have proven to be very determined fighters. Both are good at what they do and both are fairly predictable. If you think that Kessler is some mutidimensional master, then you're just being the Viking's butt licker. Trust me, if Adamek ever fought Kessler you would not be too comfortable. IF Adamek beats Cunnighman, one could make a case for him being the better fighter.

Kessler's jab is far more precis and Kessler uses it much more. Kessler moves much better and is much faster than Adamek. Adamek has a iron chin and a great heart. He likes a good trade - Kessler doesn't. Kessler is a clear distansefighter - Adamek isn't. They are pretty far for the same type of fighter!

I am a long time Kessler fan, but i have to say Dawson. I also think he is the only one who will beat Kessler at LHW to MW. I think he is just too big, strong and fast for Kessler. Offensively simply too good. It would be a close fight. Dawson UD 2-5 points.

    What are you on about?

I have not predicted a KO/stoppage win for Dawson, simply a convincing points victory.

Also, I am not American, nor do i live in the States.

You should stop arguing with 5 people at once, because you're mixing up everybody's arguments.

    :hi:
