Yeah I got up to watch it.

Was a really impressive performance by Kessler, I reckon he won it 8-4. The UK commentary was ****ing woeful though, very biased.

I don't really think we saw the best of Froch though, he was trying to jab it out with the better jabber, and was the guy going backwards. When he pressed the attack like R5, he definitely looked well in it, but I don't really think he did enough of it.

Super 6 is wide open at this point, pretty much any of them could beat any of the others on any given night. Hoping for more enjoyable fights to come out of the tourney.

I also dont think Kessler can win the Super 6, and yeah, his better days may seem to be behind him. Thats 2 unKessler like performances in a row now, and he was airly sloppy during large durations of the fight.

Congrats on your win, beave :good I cleaned up but not as much as you.

Sai, yeah, I heard the commentary was the worst people have ever heard. My link was in Danish and the Danish commentators were fairly unanimated during the rounds that I saw.

Ugly fight, I had it to Froch by 1 point but it was hard to score. Kessler was sloppy, I thought he was gonna keep it sharp and win easily before the fight.

Kessler has been shown to be a quite limited fighter in this S6. Still, he gave a great effort and won a close fight for me.

It was the most entertaining fight of the tourney so far. Both guys deserve some credit.

**** me before the fight i thought Froch would be the perfect style for Kessler to look brilliant against, froch is not the best with his defence i had visions of Kessler laying him on his back multiple times via fast straight rights with the ref waving it off around round 7, the kessler that showed up against Mundine was fast sharp and accurate.

Froch is like BHop, its ****ing impossible to look good fighting him (minus the blatant 3rd first). It takes a world class fighter to beat Froch, and a world class fighter to beat him. Put todays Froch or Kessler in the ring with Mundine and either would batter the **** out of him. There's a reason these two are S6 material and a reason Mundine is fighting cabbies.

Him on the decline is still better than Froch in his prime:yep

When I say never that good i mean never the A grade level we would associate fighters like Hopkins, Toney etc. Kessler is not finished by a long shot there is just good talent coming up that can push him.

Kessler is on the decline, but so is Mundine. If they rematched tomorrow Kessler would knock him out in 4 rounds.

Mundine could land his pitter patter punches on that vagina like cut that Kessler had over his left eye and still not make the big K flinch.

Mate i agree, Froch impressed me Sunday morning the first time ever, he is huge (height and reach) for a SMW, Kessler looked much smaller and had trouble with Froch style and reach, i don't believe anyone in the division can KO froch.

I won money on Kessler but i'd bet money on Froch in a rematch especially if held in England......... I'll be having a sizeable bet on Froch to beat AA as well.

Never thought i'd say this but i like Carl Froch as a fighter, he can bounce back from this........ Kessler will get beat agin by Ward and Dirrell there styles will be too much for Kessler.

98% of tekes posts are wind ups. The other 2% are typos.

Froch impressed me josey, though as I said before, Kessler did disappoint me too.

Froch isnt garbage with heart. He's clearly more technical than Andrade, and from what we've seen, has a similar type of heart, though imo still not as good as Andrade's.
