I would'nt think the weight will matter to much in this one given kesslers size is huge at 168 , tough one to call though , if b-hop fights aswell as he did against pavlik then who could say he does'nt take the ud. Kessler has good power though if he can land then its anyones fight.

Kessler would still be significantly smaller than Bhop though. Kessler and Calzaghe showed to be exactly the same size in the weigh-in without shoes and Hopkins was visibly taller than Calzaghe in their weigh-in.

    B-Hop UD
Kessler doesnt slap, he is too basic for B-Hop, not awkward like Calzaghe was, and doesnt have the speed to trouble Nard.

B-Hop will just neautrilize Kessler's main punch by his ring movement, so Kessler doesnt get into rhythm, and then wait for counters.

B-Hop doesnt mind the power hitting punchers, he has a strong chin, and is one of the hardest boxers to lay leather on, so Kessler's power wouldnt be too much of a factor.

Calzaghe's stood on the scales in that picture. Calzaghe's 5'11" and Kesslers 6'1" making him the exact same height as Hopkins!

My money would be on Kessler at every weight. I don't know how he manages to weigh in at 169 anyway, I think he'll be even better when he moves up.

those who say, hopkins easely beats kess arent really paying attention to the fighters involved.. those who do, probably have a tendency to put pavlik and kess in the same box, as robots or what ever..

when i sparr i often use 1-2, but that doesnt make me like either kess or pavlik does it.. there is some major differences, such as timing, speed and footwork.. kessler and pavlik are worlds apart in those areas, and easeli in kesslers favour.

a guy like taylor, gave hopkins 2 tough fights, based upon a good jab and good speed, pesonally i cant see why kessler couldnt do the same..

its gonna be a close fight, but im leaning towards kessler.. taylors boxing brain sure as hell aint nowhere near good, but still based on speed and a jab, he could deal with bernard. hopkins is a tough fight for anyone, that includes kessler too.. but ill give a small edge to kessler..

Retract my previous statement. Calzaghe was on his tippy toes.

Calzaghe confused kessler with different angles and cheekiness as well as taking away what kessler does best, nobody in the history of the sport is better than bernard hopkins at this and if people are comparing mikkel kessler to bernard hopkins than they are seriously underrating b-hop, b-hop had proven himself time and time again to all the doubters and he would beat all the current top fighters that people keep mentioning like kessler, dawson.

Kessler is taller than Calzaghe by 2 inches. You just got pictures to make it looke like that. Did you even watch that fight. Lovely picture of Kessler Calzaghe though. Calzaghe was definetly a lot more up for that fight I only wish he would give Hopkins a rematch and be that up for the fight now he has adjusted to the weight properly. Just to prove how much better he really is.
