Clumsy.....damn there's a first for everything atsch I bet he would give B-hop more of a fight than Pavlik and as I remember he's the next new thing in boxing...:!:
Because Hopkins hasn't been so much as knocked down in over 10 years. When is the last time you've even seen him hurt? No way in hell a guy like Kessler would stop Hopkins.
And yet some guys on ESB insist that B-hop is going to school Kessler, eventhough he's been winning most of the rounds he's gone in he's 42 fights :think
Hopkins wins unfortunately. Not a fight I want to see for Kessler. I think there are more logical fights out there for him.
Seems unlikely that anyone will stop Bernard. Although out of all the guys out there, Kessler would have the best chance, IMO.
My predicted outcome was: He wins by UD, or perhaps stoppage. Perhaps. No one had any ****-fits when folks were predicting a brutal KO of Bernard by Pavlik. Kessler is a bigger, stronger and better boxer than Kelly. So why all the outrage here ? (BTW, I picked Bernard to beat Pavlik).
the most common argument I can see for a hop win is because Kessler hasnt beaten anyone as good as Hopkins so he loses a WIDe UD, thats bollocks, Taylor hadnt fought as many good fighters as Kessler currently has and he beat Hop twice. Kessler isnt as limited as Pavlik and is much more experienced at the higher weight, he has spent a career at 168.
Could go either way. I cannot say "look at that guy - if he can beat Kessler then BH for sure can too!!!" (because only one has beaten Kess and he beat BH too) However, I can actually say "look at that guy - if he can beat BH then Kessler for sure can too!!!" The answer to this thread is - TAYLOR.
Kessler has next to zero chance of stopping Hopkins. Dawson would have a better shot than Kessler(although, that's not going to happen either).
Most of his fights have been against bums and has beens. Mundine is a good fighter but is undersized at SMW. Calzaghe is legit and kicked Kessler's ass. Hopkins has been in there with bigger punchers, and better fighters than Kessler and they haven't come close to stopping him.
