    According to Interbox chief Jean Bedard, there's talks between the camps regarding a fight early in the new year.

    The fight could take place at 170 lbs.

    We still don't know what happened in that sparring session where Bute injured himself. We know that it happened during the round 8, which is strange IMO. Did he really injured himself or got knocked out? Let's wait and see but yeah there were talks of a Bute-Kessler fight before it happened.

    Kessler is past his best, he almost got stopped by froch in the rematch. having said that, kessler beats up bute.

    I'm all for this fight. This should guarantee excitement and action in my opinion. Definitely looking forward to this. If Kessler wins then a Kesslver vs Pascal fight should happen.

    Both so far removed from their best and getting on a bit, but prime for prime at SMW may have been interesting.
    I would have favoured Kessler, but two very good SMW champs

    If Kessler is willing to sacrifice during training and in the ring, i think he'll KO Bute who hasn't impressed me since losing to Froch.
