I guess you are only as good as your last fight.
Imagine if the ref had of stopped the fight in Butes first fight with Andrade.
Nobody would be putting the same amount of praise on Bute as his record would have lose KO 12 Andrade on it who Kessler had clearly beaten.
I expect if that had of happend very few people would be picking Bute against Kessler, Ward or Froch, but as it stands he is still undefeated which holds a mystique about it

How can you call Beyer ****?:huh.
Beyer was a 3 time WBC SMW champ who had many title fights and had good names on his resume like Sheika, Lucas, Woodhall, Sanavia and undefeated D Green the world rated CW who KOd Jones Jnr and Briggs in a round each and just beat undefeated Flores

Mundine had also beaten D Green, but has a lesser resume with names like Soliman and Echoles

Close fight. I had it 115-113 for Froch. Froch landed the harder shots, Kessler was the aggressor and was throwing more. At the end of the day, we can see by the scorecards that Froch was doomed from the beginning.

I just wanted to reply someone totally desconsidering fighters as Andrade or Miranda in order to disqualify somebody else.

Fantastique. J'étais un peu frustré du fait que le seul autre top ~10 à avoir reçu une offre quantifiée ($400K) était Sartison... on a pas eu de nouvelles sur d'autres offres (?).

Bhahahaha. Beyer was a POS champ. Lucas beat Sheika years before Beyer beat him, he didn't beat Lucas as Eric won it 7-5 you can go fvck yourself for as long as you think this was a well scored fight, Beyer lost an SD to Sanavia and both fights were close, and he got lucky Green didn't unload in the mid rounds like he did in the 12th... even then the German cards were full of ****in ****.

Is Bute a hype job, bailey? Come on, I wanna hear it from you. :hey

    Some quotes from the interview...

    LB:

-I'm willing to face anyone in the division.
-I'm disappointed the WBA champ we made an offer to refused to unify.
-2011 and 2012 will be big, huge years for me as S6 fighters will become available.
-I think the S6 final will be Froch-Ward.

    SL:

    -Same here, Froch-Ward.
-I remember when the S6 kicked off, I and a lot of other people had Kessler favourite.
-Jean Bédard talked to both HBO & Showtime for a long term contract.
-Showtime thought they had a superdeal for us with Kessler for March 19th, we were like 'yeah, that's exactly where we wanna go', but it got trashed because Kessler was unavailable and injured... therefore not free before the summer. Magee was Showtime's choice, not ours.

LB: it's not easy for me to go up and down in weight, as it's very demanding if you look at differences in power and at the extent of the pre-fight training camps.

SL: definitely, we want Kessler in 2011. That's our goal, and we're certainly hoping to get him in a fight with Lucian before the end of the year.

LB: I'll be starting to study for a masters in marketing soon. I just completed my marketing degree through correspondence with a Romanian university. I believe this will give me financial security comes retirement, whether I retire because of an injury or because of age.

LB: Pacquiao is #1 P4P IMO. He's willing to fight anyone, he's a very down to earth guy.

Alright well, this makes my day. Hell, this puts a grin on my face for a couple of days!

As mentioned earlier, the haters just ate a little crow via third party interview. BatTheMan kept predicting for Bute to face cans in fights #2 and #3, allegedly Mendy and Stevens, but it's looking like Kessler for #2. Winner to probably face the loser of a semi for (#3). Tackleberry is from Denmark too, what do you think bud?

As top Bute trashers IIRC, Iceman71 and MrMagic are declared morons of the... of the... as long as I can recall, let's put it that way. There are others who's username I can't pinpoint, but they know who they are. :good

Larouche IMO is underrated as a trainer, but I reckon most of ESBers haven't seen the big picture over the years in how he coached and developed Bute.

With Beyer he had a good resume which you are trying to make excuses about Green didnt unload etc :dead, might have something to do with Beyer.

    Your question

'Is Bute a hype job, bailey? Come on, I wanna hear it from you. :hey'

Thats a hard question for me to answer as I like Bute and enjoy watching his fights so I could be bias with my answer.
Keeping a level head on the subject, Bute hasnt had the opportunity to fight a real live top SMW. I dont blame that on Bute, I understand they tried to make a fight with Steiglitz. Same sort of thing happend with Calzaghe when Ottke and Beyer wouldnt fight him. You cant make a fighter fight if he doesnt want to.

Except for the first Andrade fight Bute has dealt with the opposition he has faced as expected but you are only as good as your last fight.
Imagine if the ref had of stopped the fight in Butes first fight with Andrade.
Nobody would be putting the same amount of praise on Bute as his record would have lose KO 12 Andrade on it who Kessler had clearly beaten.

That's right... both the WBA (Sartison) and WBO (Stieglitz, twice) refused a unification fight. What the hell is it?! If Bute's resume is a complete waste of time, why the **** do other belt holders keep declining offers while Kessler's people get him to fight an up & coming Olympian in the guy's backyard?

He won the first 11 rounds in the first fight... along with the KO4 in the second fight, that's still not bad of a crusade against the Mexican.

Ward is still undefeated, and realistically a lot more people on here believe he'll stay undefeated for a long, long time to come compared to Bute.

Who knows, had he been KO12 by Andrade, Andrade could have decided to **** off to Showtime and enter the S6. How's that? :D

Kessler is ruined! He was never very good to begin with but this fact lay hidden in the variety of Euro-bums they put in front of him. Years later when he finally was forced to meet level 1 fighters in the Super 6, they broke him. The hyped myth of Kessler is through. The Americans broke the Voided Viking.

He did a good job in the Andrade rematch and was winning the first fight, It doesnt remove the finish of the first fight with Andrade, but does ease things a bit.
I would expect a fighter to do better 2nd time round when for the most part he was winning clearly. Its often you have a dominant champ beat an unknown fighter, when the champ has shown the way and that unknowns limitations are public and not just discovered whilst the champ is in action the now not so unknown is fed to a prospect. If you get what I mean.

Most reasonable boxers would out box Andrade off of the back foot.

After the Super 6 Bute will hopefully have a chance to fight the winner and then my get the WBO champ to fight him also if he wins

Kessler was one of the best supermiddleweights ever
Kessler might been ruined but he had already eye problems before the supersix.

Do you really think he avoided the great Jeff Lacy or Allan Green ???
Beside Ward the bums in the supermiddleweight are most from the US

not the americans.... one american (and he did it this way :wall ) or do you mean the corrupt referee an judges in (j)Okland.
