hard to decide who wins this one, depends on the improvements kessler has made with his new trainer and how he responds to losing to ward - but he didn't react well to losing to calzaghe.

if froch can get him into a brawl and open up some cuts early on he may well get the upper hand.

i don't think that the fight taking place in denmark will effect froch at all in the slightest after the taylor fight.

but froch could stuggle with kessler's style, he's not too good at slipping the jab.

both men are roughly same size at 6'1" but froch has an 1.5 inch reach advantage.

will be an excellent fight, setting the super six on fire. can't wait!

Its hard to imagine this fight NOT being excited. Thier styles mesh very well, and promise for an excellent fight.

For Kessler it's make or break, this figth won't go the distance.

It will be the best fight in the whole tourney in my oppinion. I favour Kessler due to him having the best overall ability not much less power than Froch, a great jab and decent defence along with a good chin.

    I agree with this.

That's just so wrong. Kessler did not lose because Ward was slick. Kessler lost due to the same reason he lost to Joe C. Unusual angles, high workrate and breaking his rythm. That had nothing to do with beeing slick.

You are just a nationalistic hillbilly who still didn't ge that "Europe" is not a country.

I disagree with this. Froch is not physically sronger, I give him the mental edge. Kessler will use his superior skills and defence to win this fight. He will keep Froch off-balance with his jab and tee of on his face wih his right. I expect him to take some risk but sill fighting savety first. I don't think we see a knockout but an impressive and very clear UD for Kessler.

I'm picking Kessler to win this fight, possibly Andrade style. The only advantage I give to Froch coming in to this fight is confidence/self belief and chin.

Which Kesler will be in the ring is the only question to ask, and it's impossible to answer. I can't therefore make any prediction on this fight, which makes it exciting.

This is what I'm predicting, the only thing is that we've seen Froch get hurt by someone with less power than Kessler(Taylor). So
I don't think it will go the distance.

Agreed. It might end up the most fan-friendly fight of the tourney. I'm really looking forward to it but I have a nervous feeling for Kessler. I like the guy but I'm wondering about his viability at this point. Froch may not be much on skill but he's an animal when he smells weakness. No matter what you want to say about his technical ability, you don't get this far unless you're a real competitor-especially if you're lacking for skill.

I'm going to have some fun and say Froch stops Kessler within the last three rounds of the bout (is this wishful thinking for a Brit?). Kessler isn't like Dirrell and will get hurt in this fight. Froch will get hurt too, but his chin is as hard as Margarito's hand-wraps.

Whilst Kessler is orthadox, his jab is his best weapon - and Froch is very good at taking away a jab with counters to the body. Froch's jab is longer and he pops it out of range, so Kessler will only be able to dodge it, not counter it.

Kessler needs to bully Froch back and get into range and fight on the inside..but he is incapable of doing it.

This has a very good chance of being the best fight of the Super Six. If it had not been for Kessler's last performance I would have thought it would be avery long night for Froch and that he'd b e lucky to not get knocked out. But if Kessler didn't like getting hit by Ward, just wait till he starts getting tagged by Froch. I can also see Froch winning the war of the Jab, and as Ward showed if you can take that away from him he is pretty ****ing usless. Also he really needs to have his feet planted for him to get off his combinations...which are quite impressive. It will be much harder for froch to keep him moving then it was for Ward but if he choses to keep moving behind the Jab and then pick his spots with his power shots he could really stiffle Kessler's work. I honestly don't know who to pick in this fight. I am probably leaning towards Froch but he was allways suprised me with his ability to hang with what I would cnsidered better boxers. He is decptively good. I notice none of the normal YouTube predictioners I normally check out have voiced an oppinion on this fight, where as most of them have already called the other fights in the tournament. I'm not suprised either cause I think this is one of those fights that is very hard to predict what will happen.

Kessler just became very underrated, and somehow Froch became overrated after losing(unofficially) to a guy with 18 pro fights coming in.
Yeah Kessler also lost, but to say he was discouraged it's complete bs, he was still winning some rounds and giving Ward a tough fight before they stopped it.
He was just against a more skilled fighter that night, nothing else.

I really think Kessler will win and make it look easy.

Next time I'm disgusted with haters and trolls on ESB, I'll remember this post.

    It's excellent. :thumbsup

It will be intresting to see Kesslers mental state of mind in this fight, Did the fight with Ward take away his self confidence? I personally dont think Kessler has been the same since Calzaghe beat him.
