I think Froch stamps Kessler. What struck me was when Dirrell got in the ring after the fight, he towered above Ward. I know there is not a great deal of size difference between Dirrell & Froch and have spotted Froch looking much bigger than Kessler in recent press photo's. I think Kessler has lost his edge now and he's not gonna slip and move against Froch, he will look to make good his defeat against Ward by fighting emphatically. And that, will play right into Froch's hands. I expect a 4-round war with Froch winning by knockout.
It's a pick 'em...because as of right now...they're both C+ level fighters. so it doesn't really matter who wins because they'll both continue to be lacking fighters in a lacking division...
Froch having seen how Ward roughed up Kessler has to be thrilled. He will make it a ugly fight rough up and beat up the mentally weak Kessler who can't fight that way. This fight will be a war and Kessler can't win a war with Froch.:deal
Will be very tight but Froch's winning mentality will either edge him a decision or a KO from the 8th onwards.
Why do people continually emphasize Wards hand speed and reflexe's ? Kessler wasn't beaten by hand speed or reflexe's,he was smothered and roughed up on the inside, then peppered with punches on the break.Ward had a game plan and he stuck to it,he also showed grit and determination, there was only one man going to win last Saturday.Kessler looked like a boy fighting a man,he looked like he wanted out after the 8th.Ward was backing him up at will, and Kessler had no answer.Had Ward been a bigger puncher Kessler would have been stopped.Lets not forget most Kessler fans were predicting an early bath for Kessler, they thought he'd demolish Ward because Ward had no power!! Kessler is no warrior,a warrior would have went for the kill, and went out on his shield if he'd failed,Kessler looked frightened to engage. I think the Tournament favourites progression is looking very shakey.:good
