Kessler vs. Green, close too Denmark!

It's seems like the right thing to do. Green is a nobody in the States and will surely not have increased his popularity with his - and I don't say this often about professional fighters - pathetic showing against Ward. Sure, Ward was excellent but why just stand thare waiting for minute long spells in the ring? He could at least try to let his hands go. It wasn't inside fighting all the time.

The other only possible alternative as I see it would be to put it on the undercard of Ward-Dirrell, but perhaps that cannot be done for some reason.

Here we have a national hero who is incredibly big i Denmark. I even read a Swedish news article some three years ago that said he was "the Golden boy/DLH of Denmark", a bit inaccurate of course (the journalist is **** and clueless tbh) but it hints at his popularity...

Kessler would sell a lot of PPV:s which are expensive in Denmark, it would draw a huge live gate at the atmosphere would be electric. Maybe not as godd as the Froch fight - which was electric at some points - but it would make for a very good night of boxing. A far cry from a half empty casino where nobody cares. Then again I could see why Green might see that as a disadvantage for himself... But it looks like he will agree.

Either way, Green will fold. Kessler KO9 and an upset would in my eyes be upset of the year. Sure, Green can punch but Kessler has a proven chin so I don't think Green can stop him EVEN if he turns if on. A big "IF" btw judging by his activity level vs Ward and Miranda...

 

The location won't matter when Green is KTFO.

 

I wonder how much Sauerland is willing to pay Green to have the fight in Europe.

We need a triple header for the last fight of stage 1. 2 fights in Europe and Ward-Dirrell in USA. That would create a big momentum for Showtime tournament.

I'm dreaming but that would be a good idea.

 

Good... i wont have to stay up till 5am to read the round by round now!! But I like this fight for Kessler... an easy one after two very hard fights
