Pavlik, if he beats Hopkins. Bute, if he beats Andrade. Taylor, if he beats Lacy. Miranda, 'cause he should have fought him in first place, and if he had, he wouldn't now be stuck fighting this tomato can, propped up at the top of the division by some cigar-chomping boxing biz piece of garbage who stands to make a lot of money off this match, or mis-match.

 

Maybe it isnt mentioned as a upcoming fight, cause there will be no fight. It will be a massacre.

 

Kessler's management must be morons, or just not concerned with his legacy. This guy isn't 25. He should be fighting only top fighters: Pavlik, Taylor, Bute, Abraham.

 

Pavlik, Taylor: But I don't think these guys will fight him.

Bute: I guess his management may look for an easy defense. I hope I'm wrong.

Froch: maybe, has to beat Pascal.

But I reckon Palle will wait at least three months after the fight before beginning any negotiations. And as he annoyed HBO before the Calzaghe fight when he didn't attend press conferences and annoyed Showtime when he "ducked" Miranda (that's not my opinion but it's his fault that many people think so), it will be very hard to get a US TV deal that enables a big fight in the US.

You think Haussler will last as long as Sartison?I say no,I even read some of his interviews and he is saying stuff like:''I'm happy to be here,I will just take this chance'' etc,he doesn't seem mentally good.Don't think he wil go the distance

 

I have a bad feeling that Kessler is going to float the rest of his career, fight some B-level fighters in Europe, make a lot of money, and retire without having fought any of the top SMWs. I very much hope to be wrong though.

But the guy has shitloads of guts. He won't surrender like Beyer.
As I think Kessler's punch is vastly overrated I don't think the end will come in the early rounds. I guess the ref will wave it off somewhere between the 6th and the 10th round - after one or two knockdowns -because Häußler will look like Vitaly against Lewis.

This is the guy that went to fight Calzaghe in his backyard. He will not do that.

Not because of Kessler - that guy's a lion - but because of his corrupt, clueless management.

 

Why exactly would his management be concerned with his legacy? The point of management is to make money. Legacy doesn't make money unless you can market it, and Kesser can't really improve his standing in Denmark much whether he fights the best or fights chumps. He's fought enough big money fights though that you can be sure he won't hijack the belt if there's a big name fight available.
