I think Kessler is set to retire. He's a shell of his former self.

As above, love Kessler, but it'd be over fast and that's not intended as a knock to Kessler, he eats too many punches and is too game for his own good.

Kessler's inactivity and partying between inactivity degraded him tremendously as a fighter. He's still a good fighter, but he was formerly a 'very good' fighter of the A level. If you can't pull the trigger enough to defeat Carl Froch at this point in time, I don't believe you have what it takes to defeat a fighter that's far harder hitting and more technically sound than Froch.

Kessler has a good chin and would absorb some nasty punishment before falling. No need for it. Seems he's set to retire and enjoy his money in the many cocaine filled clubs in Northern Europe and Spain. :D

When I think of Kessler at 175 , I see him suffering a knockout loss .

At this point, Kovalev wins this.

Kovalev by KO, but Kessler would definitely make a fight out of it for as long as he is in it.

Kovalev is like Froch on steroids. Kessler would get beatdown hard.

I know what you mean but Kovalez had already dominated the likes of Campillo and now Cleverly.

Who else is he supposed to face to prepare himself for someone of Kessler's level ?

He's already there and more than ready to beat Kessler.. I think he beats Froch as well..

Great fight.. I just read that HBO wants to set up Stevenson-Kovalev but the winner of Stevenson-Cloud must defend against Bellew immediately so I guess we wont get to see it till early next year? Unless some step aside money is offered and Bellew takes it..

Why would any oh them do it? Kessler hardly wants to get dominated and there ain't much for Kovalev in that fight...
