Kessler vs. Magee weigh-in

Kessler is pretty much Andre Wards property .

Kesslers ass will forever belong to Ward due to that whoopin he gave him .

 

This shows how weak the SMW era is.
Magee is past his best and was put down 4 times by a past best R Reid when undefeated and prime. Now hes WBA champ and fighting Kessler.
I expect Kessler to win inside schedule an wouldnt be shocked if it ended early

 

Not good for bailey's agenda if Kessler looks good tonight.

 

Oh, so no reading comprehension. Dude, this thread is still not about Ward. It's about Kessler's upcoming fight against Mcgee. There are plenty of Kessler-Ward threads (Kessler "Ward Has No Guts " to name one). Your contribution has no relevance/correlation to this thread even if you think that "his ass will forever belong to Ward". Get a clue, buddy.

 

Kessler should win within the distance.

I don't think Magee being the WBA "champ" is really any indication on the strength or weakness of the division, more of indication how useless belts are these days. For one, Magee isn't even the real WBA champion... Andre Ward is....well, he's the super champion, I can only assume he will progressively be promoted to super-duper champion sometime down the line (just as Magee was interim WBA champion and then promoted to WBA champion under Ward's superchamp status after his fight with Balzsay fell through). Secondly, holding a title in itself just doesn't mean a whole lot in and of itself. Abraham has his WBO belt, but there's probably at least 10 SMWs that could beat him. And if we're counting Magee's belt as legit, well, theres a lot of SMWs that can beat him too.

What agenda? I want Kessler to look good, hes one of my favourite fighters.
If he looked bad against Magee, I would think that he still has terrible injuries, which I would not want for anyone.
Magee was found wanting many years ago against Reid, but pushed Froch, which highlighted the era weakness, now Magee is so far past his best, he shouldnt have given Kessler probs

 

Good post, but It wasnt the belts I was thinking off, it was more that Magee was found out a long time back by a past best R Reid. Every time Reid hit Magee, he seemed to go down and then Reid just did his thing that he did from time to time which was stand off
